cheap and nice

My first room was next to a very noisy ice machine, but they changed me right away. Just there for one night, and the price was right!

Not too thrilled

Staying there for business, the internet was either slow or down. I repeatedly asked about the internet connection, but the clerk stated that the only one that knows the password was the tech that set it up. No help at all. Breakfast was cold hard tiny donuts. The donuts tasted stale. The ice maker had trash in it. Place was a dump.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Freeway is a block away so you can drive away from this place quick to look for a better quality motel.

Deserves negative stars!

When I arrived I was told the ground floor handicapped room I had requested was unavailable. After much argument I grudgingly accepted the 3rd floor room offered to me. After lugging all my belongings up to the 3rd floor I discover that the beds are unmade, the room is dirty, and there are used condoms on the floor. I return to the front desk and they tell me they have a room on the 2nd floor, but at the other end of the hotel. After lugging all my stuff down to the 2nd floor I open the door to the room only to discover that there is a big hole in the wall where the AC should be. I attempt to call the front desk but the phone doesn't work. Exhausted (now 2 AM) I return to the front desk where some how they now have the downstairs room I paid for, I move all my stuff down to the first floor and into the room. Dirty, smelly, supposedly a non-smoking room, the AC didn't work either but by this time I was too exhausted to return again to the front desk. AVOID this hotel if you can, no matter how cheap it isn't worth the trouble.

A cheap place to say in a halfway decent area

You're not spending very much to stay here, so you can't expect much. One thing I expected, at least, was Food Network on the television. They didn't have Food Network. Sounds crazy. I know.

Basically OK

Located near the 50 Freeway and with a few places to eat nearby, this is a good option for travelers who don't want to stray too far from their route. The rooms are small but adequate. I was given a key to a room that was already occupied (!) but fortunately I did not walk in on anybody and the situation was quickly corrected. The WiFi worked fine and for one night on the road this hotel is just about right...
