Jazz era cool in Sacramento for the modern day politico
The eternal glamour of politics feels downright marvelous at this stylish full-service hotel. The Citizen Hotel opened in fall 2008 in a historic 14-story, 83-year-old brick building, retaining hand-carved stair railings, vintage elevators and vaulted ceilings. First Class all the way
Great hotel!!!! Well designed and equipped room with the best walk in shower I have ever had! Very courteous and responsive staff too. Excellent attached restaurant The Grange is worth going to even if you don't stay here. Great location to explore Sacramento on foot. No other option for me next time I visit Sacramento.

Great Location
Great location across from a park where there is live music every Friday evening. Also, very easy to walk to Social, Cosmopolitan, and other neighborhood hot spots. Rooms are stylish and the beds incredibly comfortable. Everything we had at the restaurant, Grange, was delicious. The only bad thing was that our room service cart was put outside our door around 9am and wasn't picked up until after 4pm. Good value and friendly staff.

Take a right on 10th Street and head to the next corner where Cosmopolitan and Social are. Just a few more yards, there is also Blush UltraLounge. All fun spots.
