This motel was somewhat disappointing.

I would describe the facility as average, to worn down. The carpet in the hallway was stretched, with ripples in it and a rat bait stations were clearly visible in the stairwell and behind a vending machine. The breakfast was disappointing-only a few pastries and dry cereal-definitely more limited than other Super 8 motels that I have stayed at. The room was clean; however, the bathroom was as small as a cruise ship and lacked a working fan. The non-smoking room came complete with a plastic bag, which probably was used to prevent activation for someone smoking in the room. I will not stay here again.

The Brookfields restaurant, which is approximately 100 feet away, is convenient and a good value. The food was good and service was great.

Great staff & location

We decided to break up the drive to our destination due to the low price of the room. My wife and I were extremely happy with the entire staff. We stayed here on the way to and from our destination. When leaving advised desk will see you on the 23rd and she stated we dont have you down for that day. She found our reservation for the following week. She gave us orbitz fon and helped get it changed for the correct day. I work in a reservations center in Reno and could not ask for better customer service from the hotel or the orbitz staff. THANK YOU ALL Gary R.

Most confortaable bed

The king bed was so very confortable with good support. It had springs built in to the matress. In fact the bed was the most confortable bed I have ever slept in a motel!

I used to live in Sacramento so i know the area. about 5 miles from this motel on Watt Ave. is the best chinese restaurant called Ming's. It's in a shopping complex next to Grocery Outlet on the cornor of Watt and whitney. It's been there for over 40 years. There chicken chow mein is the best I ever had.

Clean, older style, nice staff, & quiet

close to Sac Airport, clean, older style but newly painted, very quiet even though you are near airforce base, and I 80. Very small pool and somebody had a big party on the 4th and messed up the pool for all the hotel guests! bummer! Staff very nice & speaks English. Not much in Breakfast, no fruit or waffle machine. Only cold cereal & small muffins.

Get directions to motel from rental car staff not Yahoo Maps. It sent us the wrong direction and we spent 2 hrs taking a 20 min. trip.

Not great.

So I was already skeptical about staying at a Super 8, but figured I would give it the benifit of the doubt. Bad idea. There weren't any visible infestations of creepy crawlies or anything, but the place smelled like an old bar. The walls, carpets, bedding... everything smelled like cigarette smoke, just embedded in the hotel. We had a NON-smoking king room, but the unmistakeable smell was there too. Funny thing was, they charge a substantial fee if you smoke in the room, but I highly doubt they use that fee for removing the stench. Aside from the smell, the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. Clean sheets, sure. But I may as well have slept on the floor it was so hard. I hurt everywhere when I woke up that morning. The room was tiny too, you just about had to step inside the bathtub or stand on the toilet to close the door behind you in the bathroom. They said they had free wifi, and also internet access in the room (with the cord) but that didn't work until we were ready to check out. I have to give it to them on the cleanliness though. I didn't see hallways with trash or stained carpet, their laundry room was open and I could see they actually do wash their sheets. Our bathroom was tidy and looked fresh and sanitary. I can honestly say, I will never stay at this particular Super 8 again, and I doubt I will book a room at any of their other locations eiter. There are quite a few other options on the same street... try those first!

Nice service, good quality for the price

After having spent our first three nights in Sacramento at a deplorable motel, we changed to the Super 8. I was pleased to find the staff friendly, the room clean, and all of the appliances in working order. The neighborhood is not great, but the amenities are good here and service is commendable.

A Surprise Place to Stay

Because the rate was under $50.00 we were expecting not to have all the conveniences we had experienced the weekend before at a Phoenix Inn. However, except for the quality of the breakfast (all carbs) the hotel was great. Our room was spacious, it was set back from the highway and very quiet. We will definitely go there again. The staff was also courteous and friendly.
