Be close to the best of the Capital City at the Residence Inn Sacramento Cal Expo Hotel. Our Sacramento Suite hotel is just blocks from the Cal Expo State Fairgrounds and the beautiful 23-mile American River Parkway, with its fishing, boating, picnicking and so many other things to do. The 165 stores of the Arden Fair Mall are also blocks away, and the Sacramento Convention Center is only a ten-minute drive. Further on the Sacramento City map are the Arco Arena and Sacramento Airport, each only twenty minutes away. Back in your Sacramento suite hotel, take a soak in our outdoor pool or tackle the treadmill in our exercise room. Clean, but a little wear and tear is showing.

Stayed here for the weekend, and it served my purposes very well. Staff was very good, and the room was as advertised and clean. It was starting to show a little wear and tear around the edges, but the facility was satisfactory. The area, if your walking, has a lot of homeless wandering around.

good location

We spent the night with our granddaughter on a trip to Tahoe. We were able to walk to dinner (many choices) and spent some time at a nice mall. The hotel is spread out a bit and we felt tucked away, it was quiet though. The beds were terrible. Soft and lumpy and just uncomfortable. Not enough towels and NO towels at the pool. We ask for towels and no one responded.

great room, great price

we enjoyed our stay and will be back only disappoint was they closed the kitchen 1 hour eariler then advertized......

A quick night

The Residence Inn Sacremento Cal Expo was nicely located in a residential area and restaurants. An upstairs unit that was very quiet from traffic and other quests. The room was a large suit with a full kitchen, table, couch as well as the bed. Nicely decorated and was very clean. The down side was the smell when you first walked in like cigrettes or dirty carpet and the closet door was open and off the track. Since my visit was so short and arrived late and left early, I delt with the smell and didn't use the closet. Their breakfast had a nice selection and everything was hot and delecious. The lobby area where the breakfast was served had a staff member replenish the food and was very clean.
