Needed to go to a meeting at the Convention Center. This hotel was a 5 minute walk, but had free breakfast, parking, and WiFi., and was reasonably priced. I will definitely return there.

great hotel, great location!
A few friends and I decided to go down to Sacramento from Reno for the weekend. Having been out in Sacramento before I knew the general area that I wanted to stay in and chose the Inn Off Capitol Park. It's a really clean hotel with super comfortable beds, and best of all it's not outrageously expensive. The rooms were very clean and I didn't feel any need to strip off dirty sheets! The continental breakfast was also the best I've ever had at a hotel! Next time I visit Sacrmento I will definitely stay there again!

The room was extremely small for the price that I paid. The parking was basically non-existent. There is also no parking along the streets, as those parking spots are all metered. The only good thing was that the staff tried to accommodate with the parking situation. But during my 3 night stay, I dared not go out and eat at my favourite restaurants for fear of not getting a parking space when I return. I was basically forced to go to my covention, return to my room and stay cooped up there. Dinner was resolved with bringing something back with me after the conveniton, or ordering pizza.

Great Stay as always at the Inn
Always a great stay at the Inn Off Capitol Park. Service with a smile and newly redecorated rooms, a new workout room and great central atrium. Good cont. breakfast stuff! Gool city street views too!

Nishiki's sushi is great and just a short walk. Salmon Shake nigiri and Buddah roll is a fave!

Overall good stay
We read in the reviews that the room was small, it is extremely small, almost too small for two people. Room was very clean. Very few channels on television, breakfast is very sparse. Did have coffee, cold cereal(2) and only had cream for the cereal, juice, bagels and pastry. Also had apples and oranges. If you are a big breakfast eater that might not be the place for breakfast. Parking is tight as well.

central location, great for walkers
This is a basic hotel, no frills, plain rooms and plain food, nice soap, large TV. The locations was very convenient, I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go in Sacramento. Location felt safe, lots of apartments and stores nearby. They have friendly and helpful staff.

Close to the Capitol, meeting centers(conventions etc), close to the mall, library and laundry facilities. All walking distance is a plus, and buses nearby. A cheap shuttle to the airport is 4 blocks away ( at the sheraton).
