Our third visit
Sacramento is an overnight visit & we keep going back to Holiday Inn. Location is perfect: Old town & the mall are walking distance so no car needed. Staff is very nice & the only complaint is length of time to register. Always one person on the desk & it seems to take her forever to get us registered. The lounge is attractive & convenient but when we were there at 7:30 PM not a clean table in sight & the bartender was way too busy to wait on us at the bar. So we left. But those are really the only complaints.

The Back Door Lounge on Firehouse Alley was a great find. Friendly staff with great food. Open for breakfast at 9 am. A small place probably favored by the locals. Loved it.

Very Noisey
The hotel is in a very good location. It is close to Old Town and its shops and has plenty of dining in the area. The hotel is very nice and clean. It has all the services that you may want. However, the rooms that face the freeway are very noisey. We did not get a good night sleep for the noise from the freeway that did not abate all night.

Great Classic Downtown Sacramento Hotel
We were spending New Years Eve in Old Sacramento, this hotel offered and excellent option and location for this. Its right in the middle of all of the downtown action ad only a short walk from Old Sacramento entertainment district.

The hotel is right next door to the downtown mall, and a very short walk to Old Sacramento. Lots of dining, nightlife and shopping options very close by.

unbeatable location for the price
I realy like it.The staff is friendly,and this hotel is just minutes walking to old town Sacramento.Its next to Hwy 5,and still its nice and quiet inside the rooms.

Not that great!!
Hotel was not as pleasant as we would think for pay $130 per night. We expect more for the money but we didn't get it for two reasons: 1. Customer Service was terrible, and 2. The room that we got was not nice. [...]

Yellow Jacket
Great location
Stayed for business and loved the location. Old town was within walking distance in one direction and a shopping plaza was in the other direction. Just wish we had more time to enjoy both! The Rio City restaurant in Old Town was excellent! The hotel was extremely nice, clean, and safe. I would definitely go back!
