The hotel was easy to find, and the price was good. The non smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Very basic room.

Great price, but very basic

I didn't have the warmest welcome, arriving after 1 a.m., but really this place is just fine for a night or two if you're on a tight budget. I appreciated that they had fridge and microwave in the room (although person on phone told me they didn't). Internet isn't free, but it's just $4 and at least the signal is nice and strong. Location VERY convenient to California State University Sacramento, and to the highway. I recommend this place for travelers who aren't too picky.

Not recommended

We arrived at the hotel to change our clothes to go to my father's funeral only to find out that this hotel was in a bad part of town. There were all kinds of people hanging out in their cars with music and hanging out the balconies in their room. People cussing loudly. The rooms were supposed to be smoke free but as soon as you opened the door they reeked of smoke. Our front window had graffiti on it. Needless to say we did not stay in that hotel, as we did not feel comfortable staying there with our three children.

It was busy for late night check in

The first room we were given did not have a working TV which my husband requires. We were moved to a room on the third floor in the back. Quite a hike from downstairs near the car. Overall a good value for the money.

Good Nite Inn Sacramento

Overall it lived up to what the majority of reviews replied to as "good for one night stay." Price range per night provides an unbeatable price especially if you in a tight budget. As a college student, the location is very convenient it is merely less than 5 minutes from CSUS, it fulfilled my needs of waking up early for an exam the next day and spending the night with my significant other during Valentine's Day. Amenities were almost perfect, until my guest seen an old blood stain in their white towels (good thing I brought extra towels for the benefit). Nevertheless, the staff was outstanding and very knowledgeable on their behalf. Overall I would definitely come back and I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Bring your own towels and very convenient place to stay especially if your home is 1:45 minutes from home.
