Ok

Staff was nice, room was clean , but had a heavy smell of smoke (altough nonsmoking room), toilet smell and whatsoever which lasted even after opening all the windows, must be some problem with the ventilation. Otherwise, it was fine, conveniently located within walking distance to capitol

Location is great.

We had booked this hotel last minute. A group of friends had went to party at the clubs down town and didn't want to be drinking and driving so we stayed at the hotel which was walking distance to the club. For just a room to get ready in and crash wasn't too bad.

Nice quiet clean overnight place to stay

Just needed a quiet place to stop for the night while visiting family. I found the staff to be very friendly, the room clean and quiet. The room was small, but that is all I needed. Would not like to stay there if I was traveling with someone else as I would then prefer a bigger room.

Friendly, convenient

Even though I had to work on transcripts, I had a pleasant stay. The Continental breakfast was simple but nice.

Good location for a short stay

Good location & the price was right for a short overnight stay. Parking was available. The couple at the front desk were knowledgeable - things to do in the area & offered good suggestions for dining. Request the top floor, if available, and avoid the sounds/walking above your room. The continental breakfast lacked in selection, but was ok. Go around the block to Starbucks for a good cup of coffee.

A variety of restaurants within walking distance. The couple at the front desk were nice & offered some dining options. We chose Old Spaghetti Factory because we were traveling with kids.

A place to crash

The motel was within walking distance from the convention center where we attended a show, which was very convienient. They provided a continental breakfast in the hotel lobby which was coffee and pastry. The hotl hosts were very kind and efficiant. The rooms were old and appeared to need a makeover. The paint on walls was dirty and the rug threadbare. I was in a smoking room, and they (usually in most places) are crummier than other rooms in the same motel. For the most part I was satisfied with the motel. The rates were lower than some places I've been of late. If one is seeking a place to sleep for a night, it's o.k., but if you are looking for a fabulous stay, it's not the place.
