Clean, friendly, modest acommodations.

While I feel a 4 star review should indicate a pretty great hotel, please keep in mind the price point for this hotel. Given the cost of the rooms, I'd say it deserves 4 stars. Nothing really special about it but it was clean, pleasant, and friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a inexpensive hotel that doesn't care about perks or bells and whistles.

Trip to Sacramento.

The hotel was very good, we will visit the same hotel again. The breakfast was very good, better than most hotels that we have stayed in. We came to visit our son who lives just six blocks away from the hotel. Thankyou very much.

Overall, very acceptable

Was looking for a cheap yet enjoyable getaway for me & the long distance boyfriend to meet. Didn't want to stay in the rock-bottom priced places, can't afford total luxury. And I gotta say, there were ZERO issues, complaints of any consequence. We were left in peace, and the time in the room was relaxing. Things that were less than perfect: -old towels, less than amazing breakfast (eggs, potatoes, make your own waffles- okay but pretty obvious they cut every possible corner. Can you say preservatives? any foodie will turn their nose up), --slightly shabby grounds and the area surrounding the hotel IS ugly/industrial. Do what we did- keep shades drawn and put out a big bouquet of flowers :) -TV was 20 or so channels, no AMC (missed Mad Men!) BUT: I had zero issues with comfort or noise. This is huge. They said they were pretty full but our wing (the north wing) seemed empty. Free wi-fi, hi-speed enough to stream aforementioned Mad Men. Our room was big, had a sink, microwave, and fridge. Perfect for in-room mimosas and snacks. AND a very nice showerhead! Lord save me from those stinging ones. This was a big plus. ALSO: I <3 housekeeping. They entered, cleaned, even did our dishes- each day while we were out. And, though i know this is unadvisable in general, we left speakers, laptops, iPods, other valuables in the room and nothing disappeared. So that's good. AND: This is no "technically we have a pool" pool. it is very nice- i daresay that the pool area is just as nice as a much more expensive hotel's. Good for kids, i would imagine. We liked being close to everything. Cheesecake factory, the mall, Borders, pretty much everything within 1-2 miles. Overall, this place is much nicer than the Motel 6 nearby, for the same price.

The Best -Best Western I have been too.

I travel alot. And the people here made you feel so welcomed. The shuttle service was always on time to and from air port. Great free breakfast. Great restaurants in walking distance.

poor management at night

When we checked in, we requested shuttle service to the airport for 4:15am. We were told no problem. When I called at 3:45 to tell them we were almost ready for the shuttle, I was informed that there would be no shuttle and I would have to pay $50 for a taxi. I chose the hotel for the $10 park and fly that was supposed to be available 24/7. Then when I went to take a shower, there was no hot water in our building. Irate is an understatement. By not having the shuttle service, we missed our flights because we were not familiar with the local area and how best to get to the airport. I will never recommend this hotel.

Its OK

Overall, the hotel was average for the price. The hotel rooms looked as if they were being fixed, staff was great and very helpful. However,it was a little chilly outside and the room only had a AC unit that did not put out much heat. The walk to the room was kinda scary, long halls and dimmly lit. Room was tidy but was not totally clean. I would recommend based on price, but would've paid more for better experience. Rickey

Denny's is just a short walk, but not a great feeling when walking at night. Go early, the food and serve was pretty good.

Convenient to Arden Fair, CalExpo

Motel was in light industrial area. We used it primarily as a place to sleep for three days, while there to attend a wedding. Didn't use the pool or exercise facilities. Full breakfast was advertised. What was available was a full breakfast. However, left over steam table dishes seem to have been left from one day to the next--not appealing.
