2 Having Fun
Will do if just passing through
Ice machine out of order with no expected repair date. Bed sagged in the middle. Carpet stained. Exterior walkway badly stained. Non-smoking room but still a strong smell of cigarettes. No amenities. The elevator sounded like a bad movie prop. Would not recommend for anything other than a quick night sleep while passing through.

Worth the price, but...
A mix of satisfaction and feeling misled - there was no free wi-fi as listed online -- the brochure in the room had the word "free" marked out in ballpoint pen, and I had the chance to pay $35 for a week of wi-fi -- pass. The ice machine in the lobby was down for over a week, which made it quite difficult to chill my beverages (all local from the Sonoma/Napa region). But for the price? The room was well cared for, the staff were quite attentive to my requests, the pool and hot tub were immaculate, and the rate was very fair. :)

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Guerneville, Calistoga, Healdsburg - short drive from the hotel to any of these relatively small and all peaceful towns (as in less than 30 minutes, on average) and highly recommended. Free tour and wine tasting on River Road in the Russian River valley at the Korbel Winery, and there are more than a dozen others nearby that offer free tastings, as well. A select few even offer pairings of food and wine - try Williamson Wine in Healdsburg, because the staff are quite knowledgeable.

The hotel was in a good location, but other than that there was nothing good about it. I got a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke, the light didn't work, room was old and dirty, I was afraid to sleep in the bed because the blankets looked dirty (I only used the sheet), and the water basically dribbled out of the shower head. I wasn't expecting a lot for the price, but it just wasn't even clean.

Gross!!
I was disgusted by the bed in this place and had I not prepaid for 4 nights I would have left at first sight. Mattress looked like it was from a thrift store and was somewhat sunken. There was someones hair in the sheet YUCK!! A flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet was on the bottom and it slipped off everytime i moved. I called and asked to have a fitted sheet put on and it never was. The 4 days I was stuck there, the sheets were never changed. Sheets so worn they were thread bare in spots. Actually started checking for bedbugs it was so gross. But I never saw any signs of bedbugs. Toilet paper was not replenished so it ran out on the last night and i had to use tissues. Cannot believe they are allowed to stay in the hotel business with this type of service. Ok place if you are a crackhead looking for a cheap room. I would have gladly paid 10 more a night to stay up the street in a much cleaner hotel!!!!!

Good for the price
Overall a decent stay. The room was clean. A lot of noise from the freeway traffic but the noise from the heater drowned it out. Their continental breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice and muffins. Was eh, ok. Needed an inexpensive place to stay and it fit the order. Will stay there again if the need arises.

place to stay the night while visiting family in the area
Got in late to visit family in the area just to stay the nite. Room was OK but toilet was stopped up in our room and I know in at least one other room.

Got more than I expected
For $40 I wasn't expecting much, but came away surprised. The room was clean and the staff was nice. I'll be staying here the next time I'm in town.

Perfect Business Overnite Trip
Good Hotel if you are just staying overnite for Business. Rooms are good size. Wouldn't recommned staying any longer than a couple days.
