Family weekend getaway
The beds were comfortable and the service was good. Didn't get to use the amenities like pool etc since it was raining and not very conducive to summer activities. But overall, it was a very relaxing stay and helped make our vacation very memorable.

Mary's Pizza Shack about a block from the hotel had great food, cozy bar area, and great prices. A nice break from the more expensive Wine Country options.

Good location
The hotel was under renovation and probably for a long time it will. The room was noisy, you could hear all neighbor's showering and conversations. When spoke to the front desk about it they suggested that the guests may leave. Overall the price does not match the service and the comfort.

What an enjoyable experience. I can't thank Orbitz enough for all the flawless arrangements. My wife and I had a fantastic time. We will be doing this again, and again, and again . . . . . .

Bait and switch!
I booked a room with two queen beds. I was taking one of my Girl Scouts to college. When we arrived the desk clerk said I had reserved a King bed. I said I reserved two queens and had my Orbitz printout with me. He was firm and rude and said on line reservations are only requests and the hotel doesn't need to follow them or notify you that your request is unavailable! The hotel was full for the night and no changes could be made! Needless to say I was not happy about the treatment.

Great prices and location
We drove up from San Fran to visit wine country for 3 days at the Doubletree. I would have said that this was a perfect stay, except that we reserved a room with a king bed and didn't receive it. We brought our receipt which stated that we paid for a king, and the woman said that we can only request a king, not that it will be honored. We were irritated since we're on our honeymoon. However, we did get a room with balcony that we didn't pay extra for. The room was huge and the Crabtree and Evelyn products were wonderful. The maid service was very friendly and always offering extra products if needed. It was an easy drive to Santa Rosa where we did lots of wine tasting. We had vouchers for a free breakfast each morning, which was delicious and had a great variety of hot and cold foods. The parking was free and plenty.

Nice setting, family friendly hotel.
We felt the hotel was nice and there were many areas to sit outside and read or relax. The amenities were great for families. The reception staff was arrogant and rude! I liked the hotel but the customer service needs improvement! We return to the area every year for the same event. I don't know if I would stay again. There are many other choices.
