Riverside Marriott

The hotel is in the perfect setting for my meeting at the Riverside Convention Center. The only problem is that the restaurant was undergoing a renovation and so the choices were limited and there is no deli/convenience shop. Lounge was marginally operational. Should be a much better facility when the renovations are complete.

I was in town in order to attend one of the frequent music festivals in San Bernardino. The hotel is currently near completion of an impressive remodel. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. As far as riverside goes, the location is great. It is walking distance to several shops, a liquor store, and some restaurants. I ordered a late night snack of a Chicken Caeser Salad at 2:15am and it was at my door in 15 minutes and tasted great. This is definitely one of the better hotels in the area. If you find yourself needing to stay around the Riverside Mariott, you can feel confident booking a room here.

Attended a seminar. The room was very nice, but we were never in it. Under renovations so lobby and walk areas weren't great, but staff was friendly and helpful. Shutting water off from 10am til 2pm on our check out day wasn't nice, as this was our only day to sleep in and relax, but I guess it couldn't be helped. Restaurants and stores walking distance and looked great even though we didn't have time to check them out.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The room smelled nice, bathroom and area very clean. The beds looked beautiful; we could really tell the staff worked hard to make the room look terrific. The only problem we had was that the beds were a little small (double beds) and the pillows were too firm and big for sleeping. Other than this, our experience was super good.

My husband and I stayed the night while visiting relatives in town. The hotel is nice with the exception of the woman who checked us in at the front desk who was rude. Luckily when we checked out we were helped by another woman, Amy, who was very pleasant and in our minds the type of person that should be at the front desk. The same woman from our check-in was helping another guest while we were checking out and was being rude to her as well. This hotel is very convenient to the downtown area, with plenty of places to eat and shop. We went to the Crescent Jewell, a cajun restaurant, per the suggestion of a member of the hotel staff. Great place to eat.

I visited some family. Friendlier staff. Much better than other trips because it was a nice hotel and clean.

The room wasw large, clean, nicely appointed and had a great sunset view. We used both he lounge and restaurant and found them wonderful

Rooms HVAC system way too loud, cycled on and off ALL the time.

Hotel room was very good, beds were comfortable. Parking was convenient. I was somewhat disappointed in the fact that some of the services were not available on a Holiday check out, rental car return at the hotel rather than the airport would have been convienent.
