On the road, again.
Price was right, but not very inviting. Room was OK, but certainly not at par with other motel chains (the ones formerly considered reasonble). Continental breakfast consisted of coffee, 2 plain cold cereals and some box-store danishes. Location was sort of off the beaten path and not near any mall or major developed area.

Certainly a Best Value!
While in Redding we were house hunting, looking to move off the coast. The receptionist at check-in was incredibly helpful with pointing me out to local businesses in the area. And the receptionist at check-out was also very enjoyable to meet. All the staff were wonderful and my family and myself were greatful of the services received. Rooms were very clean. Appreciated the offer of a cable to hook-up to the internet, but I had come prepared. For having to work on a budget to get moved, America's Best Value Inns has well exceeded our expectations. Only thing that could improve is the city changing a certain corner to allow easier access to the entrance. I would recommend that travelers to exit at Cypress Ave., head west and stay in middle lane has much has possible to turn right onto East St. and turn left into the second driveway. Sounds confusing, but so are downtown one-ways.

Short drive from hotel
If looking for major chains, like Red Robin, Costco-fyi-doesn't have a gas station, Walmart, or Winco they're all on Dana Dr.. And the Sundial Bridge is a great way to get out, exercise, eat and enjoy some of the best scenery in town Redding has to offer. Even has a museum to send the kids to when you're looking for an easy side attraction when passing thru.

unpleasantly suprised
Outside of motel pretty beat up but was still hopeful. I had a person traveling with me in a separate room. My room was ok. The other room the door jam had been broken and weirdly repaired. He was afraid to sit on the toilet seat. My room had new tile in the bathroom the other room had old tile and he had no hot water in the morning. I cannot give this place a decent rating. Sorry.

For 1 night, it was alright
We were in town to visit family. The hotel was alright for 1 night. But I will not stay at this hotel again. The other people there were too noisy and nothing was done about it. There was no remote control for the tv & when they brought us one it did not work. We programmed it but it would not stay programmed. The bathroom could have been a little more clean, it needs a deep cleaning not just a surface cleaning. Compared to other trips we have taken, this was not the worst hotel we have stayed at. If it's only for 1 night & you are not spending most of your time in the room other than to sleep, then I would recommend this hotel for the price is right.
