Motel 6 Palm Springs Rancho Mirage

We stayed over night after Thanksgiving with the family. The hotel was nice and close, very clean, and a good value for a night of rest. I would stay again and not have a problem recommending for a place to rest your head!

Clean and simple, no fuss and great for the money. When we get there the air conditioning was already on and the room was nice and chilled, the person that was in charge during the night was extremely helpful in providing directions over the phone (for some reason, our GPS would not recognise the address). There were ladybugs everywhere, but they say it's a problem they have four weeks a year because of these insects' migration.

motel 6 is just a basic motel--no frills but clean. it was clean and comfortable enough for a 1 night stay. front desk was efficient and cordial. pool was built in the wrong place because the only sun you get is the morning sun and it is usually cool.

I was there for business and it was in a great location for where I needed to be.

This was the first motel i have ever been to. Now i know that the difference betweena hotel and a motel is like night and day. It was horrid. We got to the motel at 2 in the morning after work and as we approched our room there was a man smoking outside staring at us. There was another man wearing leather pants and no shirt going up the stairs. Another woman was evily staring at us through her window. Also the bed spreads were ugly and they smelled really bad. The sheets did not smell clean either. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. Also there was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. As i got into bed i felt like there was crumbs or something under the sheets and sure enough i checked and they were there. It was a terrible experience. From now on i will pay more just to stay in a decent hotel.

Visiting family. It would be great if they had at least blow-dryer and/or little coffee machine

We were in Palm Springs for a family memorial service so we thought we wouldn't splurge on a place to stay. We should have splurged just a little. Although the rooms was very clean and very conveniently located to all the places we had to be-it was not a place we wanted to go back and relax in after a long day. The worst part was that I shouldn't have even bothered to make reservations because when we arrived they had NO record of us and it was questionable they were going to give us the price I reserved at even though the same exact price was posted in their office.

This motel had good outside night lighting, it is basic (no frills) but clean and quiet, very good location plus economical.

The Motel 6 - Palm Springs Rancho Mirage has a great location on highway 111 and is near Date Palm Road which has great variety of restaurants. They only have queen size beds, which require getting use to for two not-so-small people, if you normally sleep in a king. There was also a table and two chairs and a nice TV in the room. Check-in and out is very easy. In the morning, coffee was available for free in the office until 10 a.m. Storage space is sparse, but this motel is not meant for long stays. Small pets were also allowed.

Needed an inexpensive hotel that took dogs and this fit the bill. Not the cleanest and I will probable look for something else next time. The desk help was helpful for the most part. There were plenty of good restaurants close by.
