Still under construction
Staff was so nice, rooms were new looking but none have bathtubs which is tuff when you have kids. BUT, still construction - even right next door to our room. Also, the rooms all the way at the end don't have wifi reception. Rent a room closer to the middle of hotel.

Needs To Fix Other Some Things
The beds are hard as rocks. Breakfast buffet is at 7, not 6 as advertised. No free newspaper as advertised. No free cookies as advertised. TV only has 5 channels...all the rest are snowy. Only has 2 laptops that were in consistent use in the business center. Had to wait to check in. Front desk staff did not have any clue as to what was in the area, telling me to google it to find out what was around. Pillows are great! Room is comfortable.

Short walk to the beach. Short walk to Wendy's if you want fast food. If you want to go anywhere in the area, make sure you google it first & bring the info yourself. No help @ the hotel.

not as good as expected
Beds are hard as rocks. no complimentary newspaper. front desk staff young & not very helpful with what was around the area. breakfast starts at 7 not 6 as advertised. Internet only worked 1 day. Had to track down housekeeper to clean my room. Hair dryer didn't work. Great pillows. Nice view out the window.

good enough
staff is good. location is ok. the free breakfast was average. Best place we could find in Port Hueneme. The beach is 2 blocks and it's a very nice beach.

so- so accommodations
didn't care for 3rd floor, desk staff needs to pay more attention their "people skills" however the breakfast help and room attendants were top notch!

Decent place to stay a little far though
This is a pretty decent place to stay at. Accommodations are average, the usual bed and bath. Breakfast is nothing extraordinary, the usual, eggs, cereal and coffee etc. but they are good. The only drawback is that this hotel is in the last street of the town. you would have to travel 10-15 miles inland from 101 to get to it. Also nothing is close to it, you have to drive a few miles. Apart from that this is a comfortable place to stay at if you have the time.

Very Friendly
Easy check-in. Very helpful at front desk, and made good recommendations on restaurants. Plus it's walking distance from a beautiful, not very busy beach.
