The staff was kind and friendly. Description said King bed with sofa sleeper. No sofa sleeper so to swith to 2 queens was an additional $10 a night. Said that a hot buffet breakfast included, wasn't it was cereal, bagels & muffins, yogurt, juice and coffee. Business center was unavailable because they had no internet service. Ice machine shut off on 2nd and 3rd floors, had to go to main floor. Overall value not equal to price.

Night at the Shilo
The Shilo Inn Is a Great Value, Close to everthing, easy in and out, ample parking, rooms are very comfortable, quiet, and large, I could'nt ask for anything more. My only complaint, is the shower did'nt function properly, I had to play with it to get it working right, but once I got it working it was fine. Everything else was Excellent, and I will stay there again, Great Staff, very Helpful Thanks for a Great Night Stay.

Could've been better
The room wasn't what we booked. Broken lamps and dead bees on the floor in the hall. There was even a dead spider squished on the wall that wasn't cleaned up.

Shilo Inn Hilltop Suites
Full complimentary breakfast, well-maintained rooms and attentive staff made this well worth the visit. Parking was ample and convenient. Finding the entry off the main road was a bit tricky and could use bigger signage. This outfit seems to have anticipated why travelers want real suites and then made sure they provide those features.

JazzFest West Attendee
Jazz Festival weekend stay
Overall, the stay was very good. A great location for my needs - Bonelli Park for the JazzFest West concerts. I've stayed several times before (same purpose), and I've always found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. I only have one complaint, and that is that the breakfast buffet should be served later than 9:00am! If one is vacationing, they would like the option of sleeping in late, and still have the benefit of enjoying the complimentary breakfast. One additional service, that seems to have changed this year is the frequency of the shuttle service (I happened to drive my car this year, but used the shuttle in past years). I understand from other guests that the shuttle service was limited to a frequency of nearly every 2hours for transport to the Park, which is barely a couple miles away. Many guests stay at this hotel because of its proximity to the park for the Jazz Festival. To have guests wait more than 30min. for transport is unacceptable, and have discouraged repeat guests from returning. If this is the case, I too, may reconsider my stay for next year as well as my recommendation to others.

VERY HAPPILY SURPRISED
FROM CHECK IN TO CHECK OUT ALL STAFF WE ENCOUNTERED WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND KIND. OUT OF DATE BUT CLEAN AND LARGE ROOMS WERE GREAT. WISH THEY HAD LARGER BATHTUBS FOR COUPLES.
