Shilo Inn Pomona Diamond Bar

The light colored wood in the front is older and different from the rest of the room. The new furniture and set up was nice but the sink area was old. I noticed the coffee straws were not in plastic bags so who knows how long they have been left out. The shower area was not wiped as clean and the refridgerator is very old. Other than that everything was fine. The pool area is pretty, and the receptionist was friendly. This place has great potential, but an use a bit more work.

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks on a business trip. First week they had a college group of kids staying at the hotel who propped their doors open and partied in the hallways until the early morning hours. There was screaming and yelling and I couldn't sleep; even with earplugs. I called the front-desk three times to ask them to do something about it. Nothing changed. On a later night at 2am, I was awakened by water pouring on me and the bed and the smoke alarm going off. I called the front desk and they said they would call me back to give me a new room. They called me back in about 10 minutes with my new room number. While I packed up my stuff, the maintenance guy showed up and told me the water was from the rain we were having and I wasn't even on the top floor. Smoke alarm was alarming because of water pouring through it. The new room they put me in was a downgraded room right next to the elevator, ice/vending machine area. I feel it would have been reasonable for the hotel to offer me some kind of concession, like an upgraded room, free movie, or a free night stay. But, not only did they not offer any concessions, they never offered even an apology. Unacceptable in my opinion. I will never use this hotel again.

Nothing special. Had two bath towels, but they only left one hand towel and one wash cloth. The high speed internet was decidedly low speed.

no complaints! Nice hotel and friendly staff. Loved the shuttle service. They even took me to the airport before their actual working hours.

The ice machines didn't work! But overall good! And they didn't have any baby cribs!

ROOMS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. AFTER THE FIRST DAY, WE NEVER GOT CLEAN GLASSES OR COFFEE CUPS, SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER AND ONE LITTLE ROUND SOAP FOR TWO PEOPLE. FREE BREAKFAST WAS FAIR DURING THE WEEK, AND MUCH BETTER ON THE WEEKEND. STAFF IN THE LOBBY, RESTAURANT AND BAR WERE ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. WE SHOULD HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ITEMS IN THE ROOM, BUT DIDN'T.

Adjacent restuarnt needs new management. They can't even make a dicent egg.

This location was close to the freeway and enabled us to attend our seminar in about 10 minutes. We spent little time at the Hotel, but the bed was comforatable and all that we needed. The breakfast near by was also helpful. Thanks

me and my wife where at this inn in pomona ca for her daughter's wedding, her daughter had to be moved twice into other room's because of cleaning issue, and me and my wife had to be moved from our room because the celing started leaking, and then when we got our next room there where dead bee's in the window ledges and small bug's crawling on the bathroom floor, the shilo inn in pomona ca need's some major repair's and the housekeeping need to be trainded better or hire new staff that konw's how to clean.

The hotel is very nice, and very clean. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator in room. Free wireless. There were 2 problems though: 1.) Wireless internet connection in room was very low, and was only barely working on and off when computer was brought to the front door. 2.) Breakfast was in another building which doesn't seem to belong to the hotel. Very limited breakfast plate choice (no buffet). They all include potatoes, more than half include an omelet (gets boring after several days of stay). Very small portions! Only coffee and tea are included in the price: I couldn't drink coffee which tasted completely burned, and they only had green tea bags on the first day, and orange-flavored tea bags on the second. No regular black tea. Juices are not included and you have to pay. Service is pretty bad: you ask for more coffee, or simply hot water for tea, or a toast, and in most cases they forget and don't bring those, even though the breakfast room is never packed (just 4-5 couples at a time). All cups are not fully clean inside. I travel a lot, but, unfortunately, I must say that this was the worst breakfast I have ever had at an American hotel. A big disappointment for an otherwise very nice hotel.
