Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center

I stayed three nights at the Sheraton Fairplex while I was in Pomona for the California PE Exams. It was extremely conveniently located adjacent to the testing location, so I figured it would be worth the extra money. I was happily surprised with the size and comfort of the room - so I felt like I wasn't just paying for the location, I was actually getting a pretty nice place to stay. The only negative I had with the hotel room was that there was a Prom being held my last night here, and several girls had rented out the room across from mine as a "staging area" of sorts, so I was kept awake until well after midnight immediately before having to get up at 4 AM to catch my plane home. Also, it would have been nice if the internet were included as part of the room rate, but the rooms were nice enough that I didn't mind it so much.

The front desk service was incredible, to the point where a friend that happened to be with me commented on it, asking if they knew me from before.My only disappointment, was that they told me that they wouldn't grant SPG points [...] I've never encountered this in any of my other stays with the SPG line [...]

Stayed at this hotel to bring my son for a tour of Cal Poly Pomona. It was only about 8 minutes away. We arrived at about 8:00 p.m. and had great service. We stayed in a business suite and it was very nice and roomy. Worked out great because my husband and I were up earlier out in the living area, watching tv and this gave my son a longer chance to sleep in. We liked that the check out isn't until noon. Good experience. We would stay there again.

The location was great!!! Just the little touches like receiving a newspaper in the morning was most appreciated!!!

We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary by stay at the hotel and going to the Pomona Carnival. We had a great time! Rooms are clean and quiet and we would recommend the Sheraton to everyone!

Starbucks Coffee in room, FREE Parking onsite.

They are large comfortable suites at a reasonable price. The restaurant and lounge are fine and the location is in a safe area. Since it is not on the highway, you need a map or Garmin to find it easily.

the charges that the sheraton added were frustrating. the internet charge of ten dollars a day and the breakfast buffet, which was not all that, was another 14.95 a day. too much and too many charges that were not expected. the staff was more than helpful there was construction going on not far away and that was annoying at seven in the morning

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and everything appeared spotless... until going into the shower, where there was an unidentified spot of something, and picking up my clothes that I had placed on the sofa, and finding animal hair all over them. Now, don't get me wrong, I am an animal lover, and selected the hotel in case I had to bring my dog with me, but, really, if it's pet-friendly, everything should have been cleaned. That goes for the shower, too. What the brown spot was, I didn't know, and didn't want to find out. It made me question just how clean, really, the rest of the room was. I assume these are one-off incidents; however, I am uncertain as to why I got a room that was obviously for handicapped people? I didn't request it, and though perhaps the likelihood of a handicapped person showing up and needing such a room on the spot may have been low, it was an interesting choice. All in all, given that I really only needed a room for the night, the price was good, and the room was very nice.
