Ramada Pasadena

There were ants in the room, mice running up the walls outside the building, and a wrapper of a "personal item" in the corner of the room that remained there for the entire duration of our 3-day stay.

Great spot for a UCLA game or other Rose Bowl event overnight stay. The Ramada is close and convenient to the Rose Bowl and downtown Pasadena for pre-game eating and atmosphere. The Ramada has many features (in unit refrigerator, exercise room, pool, access to microwave ovens, and washing machines/dryers). It is somewhat older but clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Reasonable. Went to Pasadena for a few days to attend a film festival. Rooms were fine and clean. Pool was small and so was fitness center, but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Quite satisfied; good value; nice breakfast; pleasant staff; variety of restaurants nearbye.

This is now what you would expect from Ramada. Dirty grounds, spots painted on the ceiling, poorly patched walls, bent doorstop, dirt in corners, breakfast ran out early, smelly heater,etc.

This motel was one of the least expensive in its category listed with orbitz.com in the area. Not a bad value.

Our first room, the door would not lock so we had to switch rooms. I asked for the 3rd flr so we would not hear anyone on top but we ended up getting the 2nd flr she said it had a balcany? Yes, it had a slinding door you could open up and right onto the main street. So not only was the street noisy and had some one up stairs that kept walking back and forth on a very creaky floor. Oh and I almost forgot. The refridge. did not work and I guess the Dad had to come up to our room and try to fix it. He did, but it ended up being a bad outlet which made me feel very unsafe and concerned about fire. And if someone wanted to they could climb up the tree/bush outside the window and break in thru the balcany and sliding door. There bus. center is 2 computers that sit right in the front door, and breakfast there were not enough seats. It's a very old hotel and I guess the area is ok, would not go for a walk at night. Also, know that the room doors are not inside but open up to the outside. (no protection) BUT, I have to say the staff (family I believe) was very nice and tried to be as helpful as they could. I am sure if they had the money they would do a lot of updating but, then again, then the price would go up.

some rooms were redone others were not. Seems to be getting some updates. It is clean.

We were put in a room where they were cutting tile outside our door all day. Plus, the air/heating unit rattled so loud, that between the 2, we asked to be moved. Then the new room had door problems and we couldn't get it open, so after 4 trips up and down stairs to the front desk, we were finally put in a 3rd room. The staff was very nice throughout though. Breakfast was also a disappointment as eggs were warm, hard boiled and not fresh.
