It wasn't that bad. I like the free breakfast. The receptionist was nice. The hotel was quiet because I don't think there's a lot of guest. The only thing is, just like the other reviews on this hotel...it's old and need some renovation. Well...I
will say the carpet definitely need to be replaced. But other than that, our stay wasn't that bad.
We just needed a one night stay for a work trip. I was a little nervous with the reviews I read on another site after I had already booked, but the hotel was nicer than I expected. The review are accurate about the heating. It constantly comes one
and off because the window and doors leak. They need to improve the insulation. The lady that works the complimentary breakfast really is very nice like the other reviews I read. Food was good, hot eggs and sausage, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, toast, etc., much better than the cold pastry, breads, and coffee ones. The free wifi worked great, room is comfortable and having a desk was nice considering we needed to work in the room a bit. I also liked the cable channel selections. They included some Asian channels so it's nice for travelers that speak Mandarin, Japanese or Korean.
Check in was a very long wait because there was some problems with a large group's reservation. There was only one front desk person when we checked in, and I thought she handled it very nicely considering the stress she was under with all the unhappy and tired guests.
Hotel looks quite new, and it is close to free way. The lobby staff was slow. We waited for about 10 minutes to get her show up since we're the only guest at 7:00pm. I saw only 3~4 cars in the whole parking lot, and it looks dark for almost all
rooms in the evening. Maybe this small town has too many hotels around this area.
The hotel is set pretty far back from the road, so you'll have to weave your way past a derelict restaurant and some chain link fences before you can figure out where you're supposed to park. It can be a little daunting at night time, but once
you're in, the hotel is perfectly adequate. The rooms look to have been refreshed only a few years ago and are suitably contemporary.
The hotel does show it's age in places, like the elevators and the general exterior design, but it's clean and quiet.
There are spots nearby for food, but the best feature, especially when you're leaving, is the proximity to the freeway.
The hotel was fine. A four star rating however is far from warranted. The room was warm, even though the temperature said 60? The bath tub did not drain and the hot tub was drained and not available for use. There was also a wedding by the pool on
the day of our arrival and no one was allowed in the pool area from 5-5:30. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but I would not stay at this hotel in the future.
This hotel was awful. We booked two rooms for an out of town business trip. The on-line description offered a restaurant that closed a year ago. There were section 8 people living in the hotel that were messy leaving trash around the property. The
only good thing I can say is that they had good water pressure.
