Motel 6 Palmdale

Key cards wouldn't work doors couldn't open had to go back to office 3 times in the rain then managment finally came and opened the door. Had to wait for management to come back to the room about 30 minutes later to bring key card. However room was clean and comfortable.

My family and I were there for a softball tournament during a July summer weekend. It was intense heat w/lots of humidity. The ice machines were broken so we had to go to the front desk to get our ice from them, the A/C in my mom's room started to leak and they had to find a different room for her. She also did not have a refrigerator in her room while mine did. The toilet clogged up in my bathroom and they had to send housekeeping up to unclog (this was done very quickly though!). The pool area was a bit dirty and the jacuzzi was completely empty. It's definitely a bargain but like the saying goes, you get what you pay for...

I have stayed at several Motel 6 locations in the past. I have never been to a motel/hotel that required so much time to check in. Water was shut off (pipe leak), air conditioning lacked cooling. Room smelled like a day old cigar. I requested a refund approximately 15 minutes aftr checking in. Since I used a credit card to pay, hopefully refund will be received in 3-5 days.

I got in late, the room was ready. the deadbolt lock did not work. The carpet as dirty in a few areas. You get what you pay for!

This trip was a weekend getaway.Two adults and three teenagers Visiting friends in Lancaster,ca and a trip to Magic Mountain Ca. That being said we weren't staying in the room all that much so for that reason the size of the room which is small was ok but if we had to stay more time in the "room" I would have gotten another room perhaps an ajoining room again the rooms are pretty small

Property was dirty. Door lock was very hard to operate, took several minutes to get it working. Beds were uncomfortable. One of the beds was sunk in the middle. could not fir 2 people due to falling to center of bed. Carpets were filthy. Comforter, blankets, curtains all has holes and cigarette burns in them. Hair in bed under sheets. Would not recommend to others.

On the website for Motel 6 it said it had a bunch of amenities that it didn't have i,e., coffee pot, alarm clock, etc. Also the list said wifi in room and it didn't say anything about charging for it on the website.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The light made a strange noise when I turned it on. The television selection was very poor. I could not watch NBC, poor reception on most of the channels – very limited television stations (less than 15 – CBS, NBC, KTTV, CNN, HLN, 2 HBO's & a couple more – no lifetime or nick at night). The room was small, bed seemed like it was a full not a queen… only had 2 flimsy pillows. I couldn't remember why I didn't stay at Motel 6 when sleeping away from home – this stay reminded me. Yes, for the price it was an economical however – the quality of the room leaves much to be desired. In the future I think it best to spend a bit more for a little more quality (continental breakfast, free internet, refrigerator, microwave…).

We stayed in Palmdale because our daughter had a softball tournament, and everything was booked. We arrived two hours before check-in was told it was too early. We came back after my daughter's 1st game at 3:30pm. An hour and half after check-in our room still wasn't ready. Needless to say, I was upset. It was hot and my children and I were tired. The hotel receptionist told me if I didn't want to wait we can go to another hotel. We couldn't of course, all hotels in Palmdale and Lancaster were booked for the softball and soccer tournaments. When we were told our room was ready it was a smoking room and we requested non-smoking. People were making noise all hours of the night. I really don't have anything pleasant to say about my stay at this hotel.

Walls tooo thin. Heard everything. People load and enjoyed themselves too much. Staff was good. They helped us with out a question and had a full plate with the other guests.
