Good Eats and Rest all in One!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel room was quiet which made our rest even better. Compared to other hotels the fitness room was more than we expected. The variety in machines and activities was great. We didn't get to do the classes, but the fact that you have them really adds a personal touch to the hotel experience.

Great ecpnomical hotel.

The hotel has a great spa to relax in with soothing mineral poos. Then you can walk or take a shuttle down the street to gamble the night away...and hopefully win!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The Concierge is helpful in planning your dining experience, but I would suggest taking a walk around that area and find your own place to eat. The variety is huge and the smaller, quainter restaurants soom to be better.

Just right

I came on retreat to relax in the sun. I spent most of my time at the pool. I came during the week to avoid the mobs and found exactly what I was looking for in that regard. The location was perfect. I was able to walk to everything; hardly ever used my car. I was very grateful that the spa hotel and the casino were not attached. The only time I encountered the casino was when I walked through for breakfast. The only downside for me was I am used to smoke-free public spaces and though the hotel did try to make separated sections it didn't really work because Palm Springs is very windy all the time.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

PARKING: Drop off your luggage at the hotel lobby and park in the FREE self-parking next to the casino. It is not that far away and you will $8.00/day+tips on parking. This hotel is so well situated you seriously do not need to drive to downtown so you will only need your car if you are going to go to one of the surrounding cities. BUFFET: The breakfast buffet is huge and tasty. It is also free. It is open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Sleep in late. Have brunch about 10:00-10:30 and you won't need to eat lunch. Then, use the money you would have spent on lunch to spend more on a nice dinner downtown.

Great Getaway

Went with girls for a Spa Day, had the best time. Spa, pool, bar and our room with a view of the pool & mountains was great! Oh and the casino was a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back!

Did not like balcony configuration

Did not like balcony configuration over the pool. Also, main pool is just old fashioned-needs sprucing up, modernizing, give desert look!

Good Service

Great location, room is nice. Had to switch rooms b/c of noisy neighbors, but the staff handled quickly and well (they offered to send security as well). Bed firm and less to my liking. Room was clean though as I find it most every hotel, other people's hair in the bathroom.

Great location in middle of town.

Our room was not ready at 4:00 P.M. which was check in time. Told it would be 20-30 minutes more. We came back in 40 minutes and were told it would be another 15 minutes, it ended up being 5:30 before we checked in. The check in person seemed a little snippy when asked if we'd have to wait in line again.
