I payed for a four night stay. But due to the the leaky pipes or tub in my bathroom, I was only allowed to stay two nights. ... The Owner manager who's houseing was directly below me had damage in his unit from the leak, and blamed me for them. After he called the Palm Springs Police and they also told him it was not my fault, he made me leave the hotel without a refund for the remaining 2 nights. He then charged $500.00 to my credit card for damages. I have contacted a lawyer the CA. better buisness bureau. If you will look through all of the reveiews you will see I am not the only person they have done this too.

Great! Not a five star hotel, but just right for a family with several children. We travel a together, so the ability to ... stay in and cook on the grill was wonderful. We have talked about making this an annual family vacation. We had 4 rooms, but will need more next time.

this is an older facility in a very nice location--the desk staff were friendly, respectful and very helpful--the problem is ... that the facility is old, smelly and in need of upgrading from the rooms to the pool to the breakfast area to the whole essence of the place--we would not return to stay here again

Cool Pool in the Desert
Julie the Wanderer Jul 24, 2009
Traveling during the heat of summer, I found my room a close proximity to the HUGE swimming pool, with quiet activity. Very ... nice. Although its location, off the main drag, gives a person some lovely quiet time, I found it too hot to walk to anything and consequently drove.

Great location for the price
Jen Jun 21, 2009
Traveling through Palm Springs on the way to Phoenix. Clean room although a little "weirdness": the AC was off in the room ... when we checked in (90 degrees inside!), the refrigerator was off, and there was a squished bug on the wall. The shower pressure was erratic as well. However, pros outweigh these little issues. Otherwise clean room, standard fridge and microwave, full-length mirror, iron and ironing board. The pool is great. Huge deck area with grills, shade and sun, large hot tub, pool noodles provided for the kids. Bring your own towel. All the rooms have a balcony with table and chairs, GREAT views. Make sure you hang your do not disturb sign before you fall asleep; housekeeping tried to get in at 9am on a Sat. Nice complimentary breakfast including make-your-own belgian waffles, and you can order eggs and other things for less than $6. Very close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely return at the orbitz rate, a great value!!

Adrian May 31, 2009
This is my second stay there. I like the location and it's quiet. The room pretty much has anything you could need. My only ... complaints are the front staff being so unwelcoming, the breakfast "buffet" being so silly and small, and the carpet looking a little outdated. But for the price it's great! I appreciate the wireless internet too! I'll most likely stay there everytime I visit Palm Springs. I wish they would make checkin time a little earlier, btw.

Nice hotel for the price
Kells May 27, 2009
Nice hotel for the price. The location is not too far away from the center of town. It's about a mile walk from this ... hotel. There are a few nice pubs/restaurants closer though. There is only one casino in downtown Palm Springs. The rest are spread out to each small surrounding towns. The room was clean and the grouchy old man at the front counter everyone talks about was nice. The breakfast is basically continental sytle. They offer an English breakfast for $5. The pool is a nice size. I would stay here again. Not too far away, but far enough away from the noisy center of town to sleep at night. I like cigars and smoked mine on the balcony with no problem. A few other people smoked outside around the pool area also.

They get a lot of European toursits, which makes it fun. The view is great, and Lyons steakhouse next door was wonderful, great happy hour. I will be back next year.

Adrian May 9, 2009
Although the old man that runs the hotel is grumpy and has very little customer service orientation, the rooms were excellent ... for the price! Some people may think it's in a bad location but I think it's perfect! It's basically close to anything you need to do while in Palm Springs. The room has pretty much anything you need and it's such a blessing they offer Wifi in the rooms. For the price it's totally worth the stay!

There's only one restaurant within short walking distance. The other restaurants will be a lot of walking. If driving, most restaurants are within a mile but you will want to drive being that it's so hot there to walk. I highly recommend getting orders to-go & then taking them back to your room. The room has microwaves & refrigerators. Their continental breakfast is a joke, so don't count on that!
