Quiet hotel in fantastic location

This hotel is in the perfect location in old Palm Springs. It has everything you need, the staff are friendly and helpful, it is very quiet. You can walk to many fine restaurants and it is steps from the Palm Springs Art Museum.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Le Vallauris- a fantastic French restaurant, is steps away. Also the bus service in Palm Springs is excellent, and for $1.00 you can go long distances- ie: all the way to the fabulous shopping area, El Paseo in Palm Desert.

Excellent Service and Great Hot Tub!

Excellent location, just one block from downtown Palm Springs in the heart of the city. Nice hot tub, especially on a desert night. Can get a little noisy in the morning due to street cleaning and the shopping center parking lot accross the street. I would stay here again.

Terraza Mexican Restaurant has excellent entertainment on the weekends and good margaritas! Best time to go is during the November and December months when the crowds have died down and it just the locals in the city.

Perfect Location

Loved the location! One block away from restaurants and shops, I parked my car and never moved it till we left. We walked everywhere. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Lovely, a.c. a little loud

The Palm Mountain Resort & Spa was lovely, the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the pool is terrific (however, the jacuzzi was warm but not hot). The refurnished room was a solid B+ for comfort and amenities - not super chic but comfortable with a large balcony. The beds were comfortable with nice linen and they came with a range of pillows from soft to firm which I really appreciated. Only big drawback: the air conditioner unit was very loud and would be challenging for a light sleeper.

Great location

Our room was had a door that opened to a patio with chairs and a small table on to a courtyard that led to the pool. It is very comfortable and a nice place for the $$. The location is perfect, right downtown with many restaurants within walking distance.

Short 3 day trip

Value for money doesn't get any better than this. The place was clean, the staff helpful, they offer a complimentary shuttle to/from the airport and free wi-fi. Hotel was quiet and no rowdy neighbors. Nice overall atmosphere.

IHOP is just up the road on Ramon Road. For some great healthy and veggie salads that are out of this world try Cafe Jasmin on E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.

Best Location and Deal for the Price

Awesome location, building is nice, but room needed a little remodeling, feels old. Staff could really make up for it if they were friendlier and show more enthusiasm.

Great place to stay in Palm Springs

PROS: Excellent location (walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Palm Springs Art Museum), great heated pool, friendly and helpful staff, free WiFi access. CONS: Parking is limited when the hotel is full (we parked on the street our whole stay). Rooms are a bit dated and undersized by today's standards, but they are comfortable and quiet. WiFi access was spotty (usually OK but REALLY slow at times).
