Extended Stay America Palm Springs - Airport

We stayed at the hotel during the dinah shore weekend and the hotel was not bad at all but their room service is SO bad it made us all sick. So i advice u not to get food from them.

I came to Palm Springs just to get away from Long Beach for the holiday weekend. The staff was wonderful very friendly [...] the manager went out of his way to see that my stay was great and [...] the night clerk was very friendly. I don't understand why the rooms are not cleaned everyday there is an extra charge for that this would be the only complaint I had about the hotel. Over all it was a great weekend stay.

-We went swimming. -The beds are too hard. -I have stayed at better places.

Needed a simple yet inexpensive hotel for a very short nights stay. This place fit the bill to a "T". I would rate this as an upgraded Motel 6 unfortunately. Very meager amenities, but which fits the price. You must bring your own everything. No shampoos, lotions or blow-dryer and no airport shuttle service. No extra pillow for those needing 2 pillows apiece. Beds, sheets are nothing special and pillows seemed old and were flat & stiff. For the money spent, it was adequate. Personnel were very nice and helpful. For a similar stay in the future I would choose this place again, but not for a longer stay.

When I arrived at the hotel, I instantly got the feelk for it. The front lobby person was right outside the door smoking a cigarette and there were a couple of garbage bags outside that needed to be thrown out. But, for the location (about 2 block from downtown) and the price, I was somehow still content. When I got to the room, it was smaller than what I expected, but it was good enough since I was alone. I would have liked to be able to use their wake up call services, but unfortunately, they did not offer it. Also, they do offer Wi-Fi but at a price to the customer. I opted not to pay the extra and stick with my 3G service instead. As you step outside during the day, there is a weird humming/buzzing noise the blankets the entire area. This might be a bug problems of sorts, but with the windows closed, it is very faint. Everything else seemed in order. The cleanliness of the hotel was on the surface, however upon further inspection I've found uncleaned crevices and ignored details. However I would like to add that I have a slight case of OCD, but yet still felt comfortable sleeping in the sheets (but being me, I hopped in the shower right when I woke up.)

I was bit all over my body and face by spiders. Hotel staff was really nice about it, switched our rooms and comped us a night... but still my eye was swollen shut.

When we pulled up it looked like a nice place, yet once in our room I was Dissapointed. The lobby was small and clean ,yet our room another story. The wall looked as it hadn't been cleaned in a while , carpet beyond disgusting, the wall ad holes in it and I notched the day we left the boxsprings looked beyond USED. Now I consider myself picker than most when it come to hotels. My mom was a maid in her younger days and I have traveled enough with her and heard her stories to know what's important in cleaning. This hotel was just dirty, yet it wl good enough for us just to stay while we were in town for stagecoach, so we weren't in there long at all.

There were so many things wrong I don't know where to start. Room phone didn't work, bathroom filthy, the pull out is a recliner, they do not have roll away beds. We had to buy a air mattress so kids could sleep on floor, because the floor was so bad. Blankets dirty and smelled. Heater/air smelled horrible when turned on. All they offered me was to change rooms. $250 for 2nights was a total rip off! Never staying in any of their hotels again.
