Holiday Inn Express PALM DESERT

I stay at this hotel every time I visit Palm Desert and am always satisfied, it's not fancy but very comfortable. The only thing that bothered me this trip was I saw a cockroach once and when I got home there was a dead one in my suitcase. They might need to call someone about this. I was on the 3rd floor and my suitcase was laying on the floor opened the entire 12 days. I do have a picture but won't post on here. I am going to call them to inform them about this.

Good facility in a great location. The biggest draw is the best overall value I've seen in Palm Desert.

I wanted the HIE up in Rancho Mirage and booked this one by mistake. Manager had option of fixing that and said, "Nothing doing". Oh well, my mistake, tried to make the best of it. The walls were like paper and my neighbors were the kind who need concrete block - all night long - both nights. Was it good for you? View is of a electrical substation. Yuck yuck yuck. Staff were gracious - no complaints there.

My room was clean and the service was good. Hotel security was very poor and my car was broken into right in front of the hotel and I lost several Thousands of dollars of valuables and damage to my car. With no cameras on site I was totaly violated and took a heavey loss and delay in my travels because of dealing with Police reports and the like. The management was very gracious and supportive. But that didn,t help. Great rooms but the Property was not safe. I would be uncomfortable to book it for my female clients when they travel alone :-(

Great hotel for a golf getaway. Location close to course; room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed pool time after golf. Nice complimentary breakfast!

We had a nice time. Our room was clean, we enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and the free breakfast (my son loved that pancake machine!) and we got a good rate. We only wished that there was a central air condition system, because our AC unit installed below the window was quite noisy, especially at night.

excellent location, good breakfast, lemon water during the day in the lobby, and cookies in the evening. Pool is not too deep but great for swimming.

we got to the hotel and the staff was friendly all the way, but... in the room i had many mosquitoes, the room was very small for 2 with 2 kids and 2 steps from the window our view was electric power plant:-( very close they move me to different room, lucky i got balcony but still i got mosquitoes in the 2nd room. for sure will not go back there, and my next hotel i will make sure to pay not lass then $100 for night Remember that old saying, " you get what you pay for

Comfortable room, good location, and quite good breakfast. I would have expected it to have been just coffee, fruit, and muffins, but there were eggs, bacon, biscuits, pancake machine... Pool was nice and a great relief from the heat - perfect for kids. Didn't have a chance to check out the fitness room, but there was one. Cucumber water in the lobby was a very nice, unexpected detail that we really appreciated.

Full breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc Very good location. Clean room. Free parking. The bed was a little lumpy. I didnt use the pool or hot tub, but these were available.
