New to CA
Fantastic vacation
After a long search on the I decided to stay at Holiday in express Pacifica. I had never been to California, so read lots of reviews before I decided to choose the hotel and location. This hotel is an excellent choice if you are on vacation at San Francisco. It's about 10 to 15 miles from the city and airport. I didn't want to leave in the city so decided to stay at this place. It's a convenient location if you want to stay on the beach and away from the city. We drove to city to visit places like pier 39, took a ferry ride - parking is cheap $10 per day in San Francisco for whole day. The hotel is located right on the route 1 - you can drive on route 1 south to half moon bay, Santa Cruz, Monterrey bay and even LA. We didn't go to Yosemite park but it's about 4 to 5 hour drive - east of the hotel. At night - you can hear the sea waves, in the morning you can walk along the bay after a nice continental breakfast. Hotel staff was very friendly and efficient - they pay attention to every small need. We stayed there 6 nights in their ocean view - jacuzzi suite. It was worth every penny.

Great location and nice accomodations
The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location is beautiful and convenient. Good value. I will stay there again.

Stay an extra day and enjoy the ocean. Wish I could have! Room was great, all clean, staff helpful. Liked the small garage..easy entry to hotel. Easy to find. Would stay again

The place to stay in Pacifica
We always stay here when visiting our son and his family. It is clean, comfortable, quiet, and located right on the ocean, adjacent to the quaint little shopping district that makes up downtown Pacifica. The decor is modern, not opulent. The free (hot) breakfast buffet is really quite good, as are the cookies usually available on a table near the desk. The parking is free, under the hotel, but a little tight - I was glad I wasn't driving a Suburban. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and there is a computer with a printer available free of charge for printing boarding passes or whatever else you need. The rooms are spacious and cheery, with all the usual amenities; some have ocean views. We will be staying here again.
