Disappointing
Shower knob came off when I went to take a shower. Every piece of hardware came out of the wall. It took me several minutes to put things together so I could shower. I could not connect to the WiFi in the room. Ended up coonecting to an ethernet cable in another part of the hotel.

Checking in was ok, Room was very nice and clean but the beds where very uncomfortable. For a hotel with 5 stars I was excepting pillow top mattress. It was very quite but make sure you take you do not disturber sign down early or your room wont get clean. Maid didn't go back to clean our room when we left. Close to the freeway which it was nice.

We wanted to do some ocean fishing. Not knowing Oxnard well, I chose the Marriott. Good choice. There was a small "store" by the front desk, snacks and such. One of the best things was the nearby coffee shop, Du-Pars, a GREAT family restaurant. Only small concern was the hallway noise in the AM.

Super Friendly Front Desk Man!
I got off at the wrong exit and called the hotel for directions. The man at the front desk insisted on staying on the line with me until we got into the parking lot and when I went in, he was trying to juggle check-in, finding a room for another guest as the hotel was sold out, selling milk, and getting towels for another guest! I was amazed at how efficiently he handled his job. He was so kind and accomodating and I wish I had gotten his name! The room was huge, clean and comfortable.

Very good stay but!!
Attended our student graduation in UCSB. The room was very clean and spacious. The fact that the location is so close to the freeway made it easy to drive back and forth to my son's school. A free continental breakfast as stated during my booking would have been perfect.We ended up paying for our breakfast. This was a very short stay as compared to previous trips taken but it turned out good.

The Rodz
Best Breakfast and quick service
I booked the room for my family for my sons AllStar Baseball tournaments and it was very easy to find everything with the freeway right next to us was great. It wasnt noisy considering the freeway is right off enjoyed the quick fast stores all around the area, we will definalty stay there again for our next oxnard/ventura trip.

It was a 5min. drive to the Camarillio outlets and across the road to lots of department stores plus a grocery store open 24-7 for quick last minute iteams.

Great hotel
My Wife and I chose this hotel because it was central to Santa Barbara and Ventura. When we arrived we asked for a room on the top floor instead of the room we had reserved and they gladly made the change. I have to give the staff of this hotel 5 stars as through out our stay we were treated like we were staying in a much more expensive place. The room was always clean and put nicely back in order upon our return. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only drawback is some freeway noise.

If you are going to Santa Barbara you must visit Pierre Lafond Bistro & Wine Bar. The service and food are Fantastic!
