Not exceptional.
Overall, I'm somewhat disappointed. Check in was more focused on getting us on their time share contact list than welcoming us. Advertised as sleeps 4. There were only 2 of us but, I went for the sleeper sofa...a big mistake. So uncomfortable. View of empty lot and construction was disappointing, and an early-morning false fire alarm on Sunday was so fun! (Not really.) Checkout staff was rude. I asked for a receipt, and she said there was none to give. Still puzzled by that one. Expected more considering what we paid. Probably will try something else next time.

Great Getaway
Beach and pier were just across the street. Could walk to restaurants and entertainment. We were on the seventh floor and the elevator was fast! Parking was convenient. Had a great time.

I stay in Oceanside several times a year. This was my second time at this hotel, and I have to say, its perfect! The only thing missing was a microwave in my room. The hotel staff, as amazing as they are, were happy to reheat my coffee and pop my popcorn for me. It was also my fiance's birthday. The staff put together the cutest little candy gift bag and had everyone sign a card. It was very sweet and they won me over. I will be back many times to come! Julene Salt Lake City, Utah

Go to the outlet mall off Palomar Airport Road. Its about 10 minutes away and has many shopping and eating choices. Plus, the flower gardens are next door!

Great Hotel!
Even in a crisis of the half state blackout, service was superior! Amenities were wonderful. Right across the street from a great beach and the Oceanside Pier. Highly recommended! We would stay again.

Thursday evenings there is an out of this world street market 1 block away. You will find the widest array of ethnic foods that are fabulous. My husband had street tacos that were the best and I had a homemade sausage in a sourdough roll. Oh my gosh it was so good it should almost be kept a secret!

Not for business travler
This may be good for a fmily vacation, but not for a businessman. Their number one concern is trying to sell you a condo, starting at checkin your ask to fil out a contact form for the condo sales agent.

the good, the bad, and the really ugly
The good is that the hotel is on the beach. The bad is that there is a train that runs every 25 min. My adult sons slept through it but my husband and I were not so lucky. The ugly was the way my sons were treated by staff. They refuse to ever return where they were dimissed and staff were putoff with their concerns and request. This was reported to Management.

Sleepless!!!!!!!!!!
The hotel is beautiful! However, the train that runs by the property, all through the night, ruins it all! I would NEVER go back, nor would I let any of my friends stay there.
