THE HOTEL OVER ALL WAS NICE CLOSE TO THE FREEWAY AND THE BEACH ONLY THING IS THAT THERE WAS NO FREGATOR AND NO DRAWS TO PUT ANYTHING TV A LITTLE OUT DATED BUT OTHER THEN THAT IT WAS GREAT actually when we coming back in october we well try to stay there again thanks for friendly staff

For the most part it was as expected...a place to change, shower and sleep. I only have one complaint the TV in my room had a life of it's own, it would shut off all by itself. Made it hard to laydown and relax at night watching TV.

Just a place to sleep,
When we arrived the service was very good, but the rooms had no coffee maker, no microwave, no small fridge, and the ad stated they had all of this plus a continental breakfast....which was coffee from 6-10am

inexpensive getaway
This was a one night stay for my 3 year old son and I who were visiting Legoland in nearby Carlsbad. Since we were going to be spending very little time in the hotel, I didn't want to spend much money. This Motel 6 was in a good location in Oceanside w/in walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Although it was anything but fancy, it was clean. We got the deluxe room, which was nothing special, so I don't know what a regular room would be like.

Great stay
The staff here was amazing. Each one of them were very friendly, helpful and positive. We loved the surf spot recommendations, the restaurant recommendations, the housekeepers friendly too.
