The room was good but needed pillows that were not flat and a bathtub. We had a a 4 year old that does not do showers. The designers need to keep in mind the smaller customers. The service was first rate. The room was cleaned everyday. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The motel was very close to shopping and restraunts.

It isn't a deal breaker
Decent room however be prepared because it is small. Minimal amenities, no free wi-fi, a non-smoking room that smelled, freeway noise that was slightly noticeable but overall was quiet, price was marginal for the weekend. Although wi-fi is an additional charge, there is a Starbucks across the street where it is free. Eating and shopping are close by, literally across the street, and there is about a 10 minute drive to the beach and Oceanside Pier. The motel in my opinion is charging Vegas weekend rates for this room but on a last minute trip down here to get away from Vegas, it was fine. Toss in the free wi-fi, add a few more towels to the room and provide a bar of soap that isn't the size of a pack of gum, and I would say this place is a good value for the money and worth a return trip.

Beach lady
Great location, lack of quality
We were visiting friends for a weekend get-a-way. This was a great location for us because it was in the middle of all of our friends but the room wasnt in the best condition. After seeing bugs in the bathroom I decied to skip the shower and there is no bath tub. There is also no free breakfast. It was cheap and worked for the weekend but not good for a real vacation.

this Motel 6 was better than others I have stayed at, the room was small but comfortable, the bed more comfortable, especially like the new shower. Quiet and clean.

Not bad at all
I was looking for a cheap hotel to spend the night in. I don't expect much for one of the cheapest hotels, so it is slightly hard to be critical. The room was clean and smelled good. The bed was comfortable, but I would bring my own pillow next time as the ones we had were so flat they didn't serve any purpose. The fan rattled all night, which could be a problem if you're sensitive to noise, but no other problems. The front office people were friendly as well.

Just tired of Bad service
If all you need is a bed
Went to Oceanside because of a death in the family. The staff over the phone was very nice so must have been the call center, In person they would not even answer a question about directions.. Not even an "I'm not sure". I requested a wake up call that never arrived. No alarm in room. I won't stay there again. Not sure that I would even try another Motel 6.
