Nice but loud

The room was always clean, and the staff were extremely helpful. The only down side was the noise. You can here everything going on in the rooms around you, and when people walk past your door. The location is kinda sketchy, but the view from the back rooms is really pretty. I would totally stay here again.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

When parking at the Fishermans Wharf- check the side roads for parking. It's normally free 2hr parking. Perfect for just wandering the pier!

Excellent Value

I made last minute reservations for my daughter's college graduation. All the close in Berkeley motels were booked and expensive for graduation weekend. The Motel 6 was close to the freeway and relatively easy for the 10 minute drive to and from Cal and cut the price of a nights stay in half.

Great! If you don't like to sleep. Noisy

No security! Groups partied and argued outside of our room ALL night long. I have stayed at worse motels, but have still slept fine. Worst motel experience ever.

Alameda has some great places to eat.

Much needed break in my town.

This was one of those days that I needed a break from the house, the job and the kids. I was able to take a night off. The bed needed to be replaced, but it was quiet and peaceful. I was able to get my quality time.
