La Quinta Inn Oakland Airport Coliseum

The hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was clean. Breakfast was a little weak. Overall a very good deal and would stay again.

It was ok.. The location wasn't the best as far as being able to find something to do locally without having a car... But the room was very nice , breakfast was basic waffles juice coffe boiled eggs.. Staff was excellent! The only reason I wouldn't stay again is because of the location.. It's in a industrial area...

Room for the most part quiet, comfy bed, clean and orderly. Would stay again.

Room was perfect as always, however the staff check in person just wasn't up to parr and speed...we spent a considerable amount of time just waiting to get our room...we were the only ones besides someone else getting a credit.

We reserved a room with two beds but only got one king, when we prefer two queens.The closet was not enclosed, there was not a full-length mirror, there was not a refrigerator or microwave. When we asked, we were told that we had to request a refrigerator in advance. The one they brought to our room was large and noisy. There was no computer on premises and the Wifi was a weak connection. The bathtub was old, painted and peeling. The large bathroom door, when open, blocked our exit door. The hotel lists a "24 hour pass to nearby fitness club" but we did not receive any information and there were no such facilities nearby. The fitness club was minimal and the treadmill was broken. We were told that our stay did not qualify for the Returns program (no other La Quinta told us that.) The employees were not as helpful as other La Quintas. We have stayed at five La Quintas this year and this was the only one that did not meet our expectations.

Good proximity to the airport, but the coliseum area is a scary part of town. Gym is pathetic, which needs to be better when you can't really go outside in the local area to safely work out. Breakfast and staff were nice. Decent value but I've stayed in much nicer la Quinta's.

The place was okay... This is my first visit to Oakland and to be honest I'm not sure I would really recommend the place. In the morning the area is ok, I suppose, but at night professional street walker are noted around doing business... scary. But in a pinch if you're just passing by and needed a place to crash for the night this place will do. Sorry, just being honest.

The shuttle from/to the airport is shared among several hotels. Creates long waits after arriving at the airport.

This hotel was very accommodating . The staff was great and courteous. Breakfast was good and in spite of the painting and reconstruction going on I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to my friends. The shuttle was always available for trips to the bart and this was an added plus.

You can see the stadium from the inn.Easy to get to from the freeway.Several food places in walking distance for the inn.Grounds has a fence around it.Close to gas stations.Has a free shuttle to and from the airport.Free breakfast is ok would be better if had some meat (bacon or sasauge).There was boiled eggs,waffles,toast,bagels,yogurt,ceral,and oatmeal.3 different kinds of jucies.Great breakfast for kids and women men generaly want some meat.
