Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites OAKLAND-AIRPORT

This hotel was close to the airport and served my needs. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. It is nothing luxurious but served my needs for my business trip.

The hotel was great. It was close to all attractions. we went out to Oakland for the Raider Colt game and the stadium was right down the street. We drove over to San Francisco which is right over the bridge like 20 minutes away. The people at the hotel were great they had everything we needed. I will e back next time.

pleasant and quick, no nonesense

Exactly what was promised. Perfect for business or convenience of being next to Oakland airport.

We went on a family vacation and visited SFO and nearby attractions and we chose this since we landed in Oakland. This is a decent hotel with good rooms and service. But there are very few good restaurants nearby and there is not much of a view from the room windows. We were able to relax comfortably and the beds were good. The hotel has a Spa which was OK to relax for 15 minutes, there was no swimming pool. The breakfast contained omlette, sauage, bacon, bread, bagels, a couple cereals, milk , juice , coffee and yogurt and the only fruit was banana. It would have been better if they had few more cereals, waffles, and more fruit options at least apples. And they take all the food inside after 9.30 AM and only coffee is available unlike the previous hotels I have stayed(The fruits were available in other hotels).The room service was good and the staff were courteous.

Our trip was to attend a family event. This hotel was very close to the venue. Last time, stayed at another hotel further east on Hegenburger Rd (that was a scary place, security wise). No problems here.

I travel to CA every month and have never complained about a hotel stay. I feel bad because the front desk clerks were very friendly, but the van service had me waiting 45 minutes at Coliseum BART on a very cold night. Additionally, room service came in to my room unannounced at one point, and front desk sent some new check-ins to MY room (luckily the key didn't work). There was also NO hot water on my first morning, which was marginally better the remaining mornings. Sink was clogged first day too, though that also got better. Beds were too comfortable (if you're looking for that, it's a good stay). Made me groggy, NOT good for business...and certainly not good if I had to perform open-heart surgery with a ball point pen, or play WR for the Colts as in the commercials.

Very friendly staff who were helpful. Nice shuttle to the game. Breakfast was standard fare, coffee was pretty weak. Good location and easy jump off place for the area. Carpet was wet by the heater, and noisy when it came on.

I was on business. The carpet in the hotel can be changed to give it a better look and cleaner feel. This was my first trip.
