The Motel is centered in the sixth Largest Metropolitan area in the United States: the San Francisco Bay Area. Bay Breeze Inn is just a short walk to Oracle Arena and McAfee Coliseum - home to the Oakland Athletics, Oakland Raiders and Golden State Warriors as well as a host of other sporting events, concerts and family shows. The Oakland International Airport is a short four mile drive from the Bay Breeze Inn. The motel are conveniently located off interstate highway 880 - only a 20 minute drive to downtown San Francisco, 30 minute drive to San Jose and 45 minute drive to Napa Valley Wine Country. The Bay Breeze Inn is near some of the best dining, shopping and entertainment the Bay Area has to offer in historic Jack London Square.

Pictures are Deceiving

If you are desperate and need a one night stay, This place will pass. The room was clean and that is the only good thing I can say about it.Hotel is very run down and in a very bad part of town.

Clean but Couldn't get any hot water!

This hotel is off in the "cuts". It was clean and neat, as it was being newly remodeled but I was unable to acces any hot water. I felt safe and I had not other troubles whatsoever. It was a reasonable price and I even booked it the night of! If your not to picky and you need something affordable this is perfect!

Oasis bar and gril is in downtown Oakland and has a great reggae night on Wednesday and Friday!! I love Oakland!

Bay Breeze Inn Review

Booked due to location and price. My main gripe was the door didn't fully shut and the windows were really old so it was very noisy very early.

Surprizingly Good

At the price, I expected much less than I got. The room was clean and all the appliances worked - even came with a room refrigerator and microwave. Though in an industrial area, the place was secure with many video cameras and a steel gate. I will definitely stay there again

you get your money's worth....PART 2

again, you get your money's worth. this is not a bad thing if you have been traveling a lot and have stayed at different hotels. i needed a place to spend a night, a stop over from a long drive and was under a strict budget-bay breeze was the cheapest. i had a better room this time, provided i was kinda interviewed by the receptionist so they knew i wrote a bad review and did not put me at rm 103 again. thus it proves there is still good however,attitude of staff was still unwelcoming. makes me wonder if it was just me... or are they really stressed out with life that they take it out on guests.

AWFUL!!!!!!!!

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Granted, the rates are cheap, so we definitely weren't expecting much, but this hotel was just awful. First, when we got there, they didn't even have our reservation, even though we'd paid ahead of time and I had my confirmation number. When they finally gave us our room key, we went to our room, and there was no remote for the television. There was also no phone, and there were only two pillows in the room. When I went down to get the remote, she handed it to me, but we had to program it ourselves. She would not give me any pillows because she said that she was the only employee there and she had to stay at the office. Another guest in line ahead of me practically had to beg her for a towel. All in all, the stay here was absolutely AWFUL. I would certainly not recommend staying at this hotel.

The Metreon in San Francisco is not a mall. It has a theater, but very few shops that I hadn't heard of before. Your best bet is the Westfield Mall, but like all of San Fran, the parking is really expensive and hard to find.

you get your money's worth....

for a cheap rate the room was well fit. its true about the double locks...- i stayed at room 103- NO barrel bolt(double lock)
