We are centered in the Sixth Largest Metropolitan area in the United States, the San Francisco Bay Area. We are minutes walking distance to Oracle Arena and McAfee Coliseum, home to the Oakland Athletics, Oakland Raiders and Golden State Warriors as well as a host of other sporting events, concerts and family shows. Just four mile drive from Oakland International Airport and are next to local flea market. Conviently located off interstate highway 880 with 20 minutes drive to San Francisco downtown, 30 minutes to San Jose and 45 minutes to Napa Wine Country. We are close to some of the best dining, shopping and entertainment the Bay Area has to offer in Jackson Square.

Ear Plugs Needed

Street is under demolition, cannot access hotel easily. Trains passing by all night, freeway on the other side, BART in the middle & air traffic overhead. WOW

Uhhhhh.....yea no.

Location is a bit intimidating at night since it is located withing nothing but auto shops and recycling areas. However, it is within walking distance to O.co Colisuem which is why I was there. The room was small, the TV had no remote control, there was no phone to call the lobby, the sink's cold water did not work and there was a patch sewn into the covers on the bed which looked like it was hiding something. This was a last minute booking close to the coliseum since every hotel around was full for New Year's followed by the last Raider home game the next day. I don't think I'd be staying here again.

Poor place to stay

I knew I was getting an inexpensive place but have never seen anything this bad. The door does not close very good and there is a dead bolt in the door but the hole for the pin is about 2" off. the middle dresser drawer face was broken and leaning against the wall, it seamed like the shower was plumbed backwards, there was no hair shampoo, and I had trouble communicating with the front desk. I didn't stay the night because I was not comfortable with the security of the hotel room or leaving my car parked downstairs so I drove home. When I was talking with the lady at the front desk she said "we will look at it in the morning" that was unacceptible for me. By far the worst place I have ever seen!!

Bay Breeze Inn

I would not recommend this hotel. Noisy. No amenities other than a small refrigerator. Charge for ice. You have request an ice bucket (tiny). While the bed linens looked neat and clean, I discover tiny bugs (hopefully ants) crawling over the floors and furniture. When I went to the airport these same bugs were in my luggage. I had to spray the bags with insecticide and wash all my belongs. No place close for dining of any kind.

Basic bare bones accommodations at cheap price.

Modest accommodations at a very cheap price. At this price one doesn't expect the Ritz, so as long as expectations are low in only for very basic accommodations then you will get what you pay for. THERE'S NO PHONE IN ROOM FOR A WAKEUP CALL SO BRING AN ALARM OR CELL PHONE. Despite this, a good value for the price if you are looking for no frills.

This area is mostly industrial with almost no shopping or entertainment venues nearby, but freeway gives quick access to these.

Terrible Terrible Place To Stay!! STAY AWAY!!

We needed a place to stay overnight close to the airport for an early morning flight, we figured any motel would do but we were wrong!! This motel is a disaster the carpet was old and dirty, the door don't close fully, and the motel is right next to the freeway!! This place needs to be close down ASAP and deserve only half a star. Do yourself a favor and pay $15-20 for a better place.

Great Hotel in Oakland

The rooms we stayed were very nice and so far this is the best hotel we have picked. Its better than the other we stayed in Oakland which was priced at $80 per night. Here we paid little over half that amount and got equal or more amenities with nice clean rooms and good location off freeway. Pick this hotel and I can bet you wouldnt go wrong

Best Hotel I have ever stayed in Oakland

This has been the best hotel I have ever stayed in Oakland for the price. I was really impressed by the quality of rooms. The room had a granite bath tub, granite sink, fridge, microwave, etc... basically all the amenities you can get for more than double the price. The front desk were very helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. No prices for guessing where I will be staying on my next trip to Oakland...
