great hotel
The service was great. Was treated like royalty. Rooms were nice. The restaurant had great food and excellent service. On Sunday we received a 50 percent discount on all our food and drinks. It was truly a special occasion for us.

Not bad...
The hotel was nice and more on the upscale-side. We were there for Knott's Berry Farm's Haunted night and the drive wasn't too bad (we missed a lot of traffic). The locale is so-so and Fashion Island is pretty over-rated. If you want to go to the beach, you're probably better off getting a hotel closer to the coastline.

Beyond my expectations
The hotel was great from the moment we pulled up to the valet to the bell man opening the front door, to the speedy check in to the clean rooms... great all around! deff going back

Quick Getaway!
This was a last minute trip and our first experience at The Island Hotel. It was very enjoyable, clean and the staff very extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. Dining options whether at the hotel,adjacent shopping center or at the coast were plentiful.

Tropical, clean, sophisticated
Great, fast valet service. Friendly staff. Beautiful environment. Pool area was crowded, but fun. Rooms were spacious, airy, great views, and immaculate. Large bathroom. TV remote control did not work very well. Bar lounge was very busy at night.

It's not far from the Laguna Beach Arts Festival, excellent shopping, the beach and great dining. Beautiful meeting rooms for business or other affairs.

Great hotel

Beautiful luxury hotel
The Island Hotel is very beautiful and luxurious. The room was immaculate at all times, the staff was friendly and attentive but never intrusive. It is close enough to Disney and other sites but far enough to provide privacy and peace and quiet. It is also in walking distance to Fashion Island, which has every store and restaurant you might desire right across the street. It was a wonderful experience staying there. There are no negative aspects.

Wonderful customer service
The staff went above and beyond to make sure the guests needs were taken care of. The rooms weren't as plush nor as large as I expected. The location, lobby and grounds are awesome.

AWESOME!
The Island hotel was nothing less than AWESOME. We spent 3 days/nights there for pleasure. Everything was 1st class from the moment we stepped out of the cab until we departed for the airport. [...], the pool bartender, was very attentive and took great pride in making sure everyone at the pool had a perfect time.
