Good Stay
Wanted a quick getaway and after checking prices/reviews, I chose the SpringHill. A little removed from Napa and the wineries but overall it was very good. Large rooms, nice breakfast. I may visit again.

If you stay there for 5 days of longer - you'll get a great deal! The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Great location especially if you have a rental car - 10-15 min drive will get you to all great restaurants and wineries. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Napa getaway!
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and we are so glad we decided to stay here. The staff was friendly, helpful and more than happy to assist us. Our room was clean and spacious and had a small fridge and micro wave and a very nice sitting area to relax. The bed was a king and was very comfortable, we slept great! The complementary breakfast was really nice, what a great way to start your day before you head out. We didn't use the hot tub or pool because the weather was cool, 65 degrees, but they looked inviting. What a great value this place is. Drawbacks? It's about 8 miles from downtown Napa but the drive is easy and quick. A word of caution; be careful when leaving the parking lot, it is steep and the front of your vehicle will scape-hit the asphalt pretty hard if you are going to fast! Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the valley!

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
If you want a great Pulled Pork sandwich go to the Red Rock Cafe in Napa, it's a small place but the food is awesome. The sandwich is huge so you may want to share unless your really hungry. Also try Mustards, great pork chop, again a small place but great food. Enjoy!

short trip to wine country
this is a very new and comfortable hotel. It's only about 15 min drive away from downtown Napa. Though it's right off the highway, there's no noise from the traffic. The hotel staff are very helpful in getting us extra towels and blankets. We loved this place.

New, lovely hotel
My friend and I chose this hotel for a last minute trip to Napa Valley in early October because of the very few options available, this was the most economical and looked the nicest. I was pleasantly suprised that this hotel seems brand new (still had signs outdoors saying "Now Open" in Oct 2011), was tastefully and nicely decorated, and had a great feel to it. A large continental breakfast was provided each morning (including my favorite, make-your-own waffles). There was a heated pool that we discussed but never ended up being able to enjoy. The only drawback is that it is a little off the beaten path, out toward Napa County Airport. But I would gladly book again, it could not be beat for the price - and if we stayed more near Yountville, the prices would have been dramatically more.

Rent a car! (And drive responsibly.) Wineries and dining options are spread out, and taxi fare can add up. Eat dinner in downtown Napa - great assortment of fantastic restaurants, about a 15 minute ride away. Great views for al fresco dining.

A chef in Napa who found the best!
Best hotel in Napa -you have to stay her
The hotel is the nicest hotel in downtown Napa which is the "newer" happening place in the area. The decor is very elegant and sophisticated very "avant garde" boutique type place and exquisite. Sexy, fun and marvelous are words that can describe this hotel. The rooms are exquisite, comfortable beds, wine bar, great shower with very hot water (which I love).Every single employee was so amazingly nice. My husband is legally blind and they did everything (and more) they could to make him feel as comfortable as possible. [...] at the front desk is the best front office person I have ever encountered at a hotel. The valet guy (blond and young - cant remember his name) was so courteous and so helpful, he always had something nice to say and always had a smile on his face. The one thing I wasn't 200% crazy about was how far it is from the actual vineyards. its about 10 minutes away driving. For us it was alright. Downtown napa is a revamped area of napa valley which is becoming the happening place. Walking distance to many of the newer celebrity chefs restaurants and close to the outlets. We felt very happy at this hotel and CANT wait to go back

Short drive from hotel
You have to visit Peju winery, about 15-20 minutes from the hotel. Beautiful place, elegant and upscale. The wines are the ultimate best and are very reasonable priced. They will even ship them (for a price) and they sell all kinds of wine related merchandise including books, wine racks, and more. The owner is a sophisticated woman (we even met her) which is exquisite and it reflects everywhere
