SpringHill Suites by Marriott Napa Valley

this is a very new and comfortable hotel. It's only about 15 min drive away from downtown Napa. Though it's right off the highway, there's no noise from the traffic. The hotel staff are very helpful in getting us extra towels and blankets. We loved this place.

Room was comfortable and clean. New hotel with good amenities.

My friend and I chose this hotel for a last minute trip to Napa Valley in early October because of the very few options available, this was the most economical and looked the nicest. I was pleasantly suprised that this hotel seems brand new (still had signs outdoors saying "Now Open" in Oct 2011), was tastefully and nicely decorated, and had a great feel to it. A large continental breakfast was provided each morning (including my favorite, make-your-own waffles). There was a heated pool that we discussed but never ended up being able to enjoy. The only drawback is that it is a little off the beaten path, out toward Napa County Airport. But I would gladly book again, it could not be beat for the price - and if we stayed more near Yountville, the prices would have been dramatically more.

The hotel is the nicest hotel in downtown Napa which is the "newer" happening place in the area. The decor is very elegant and sophisticated very "avant garde" boutique type place and exquisite. Sexy, fun and marvelous are words that can describe this hotel. The rooms are exquisite, comfortable beds, wine bar, great shower with very hot water (which I love).Every single employee was so amazingly nice. My husband is legally blind and they did everything (and more) they could to make him feel as comfortable as possible. [...] at the front desk is the best front office person I have ever encountered at a hotel. The valet guy (blond and young - cant remember his name) was so courteous and so helpful, he always had something nice to say and always had a smile on his face. The one thing I wasn't 200% crazy about was how far it is from the actual vineyards. its about 10 minutes away driving. For us it was alright. Downtown napa is a revamped area of napa valley which is becoming the happening place. Walking distance to many of the newer celebrity chefs restaurants and close to the outlets. We felt very happy at this hotel and CANT wait to go back

Out hotel stay was very nice. The hotel itself was clean, beautifully landscaped, and quiet. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Napa CA

Property was a bit of a drive from the center of things. There are no close restaurants.

We settled on this hotel because the Marriot Resort and all the other hotels closer the vineyards were booked up. The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms are nice and spacious. However the hotel is quite far away from the restuarants and vineyards and it took over an hour and half to get a cab ride back after dinner. Despite being on the top floor (4th) we could still hear the people in the parking lot late at night and the walls were so thin we could hear the people in the rooms next to us.

I knew the hotel was not close to downtown Napa when I booked our stay...But this was a good thing since it was in a quiet area. The county airport was close by but it was not busy and the soundproofing in the hotel was excellent. The hotel was about 5 minutes away from downtown so it was not a big deal. It has all the basics we were looking for plus more! Our king suite was of decent size with a partial wall separating the sitting area. This worked well for our toddler during his naptime. The place is modern, clean and well maintained. There is a small garden for people to hang out. My son loved walking around and playing with the fountain. Best of all, they offer real breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, different breads and make your own waffle! It is so much more substantial than the "continental breakfast" you get in other places. We would definitely stay here again if return to the area. Did I mention that it is priced well compared to other hotels in the same class I looked into?

Great hotel...seems new or recently redone. Very clean, lovely lobby, large pool area with spa and wonderful breakfast. Even free newspapers. I'd encourage anyone to stay here. It is a few miles from downtown Napa but still a convenient location if you have a car. There isn't a lot to do close by so I wouldn't recommend it to someone without transportation.
