Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines

Stayed here as part of an package for a three-day Napa Valley trip. Hotel is just across the river (0.2mi) from downtown Napa and is a nice, basic Best Western. No real breakfast for non-loyalty members - just coffee, fruit, and granola bars - but there is a Denny's adjacent which we did not try. VERY helpful staff. Hotel is well maintained with nice grounds, but the queen rooms available in the package are located under the stairwells/overhangs and are quite dark even during the day. We'd suggest a king room or better if available and if you plan to spend any time in the room during the day. All in all a nice hotel that's a really good value in an expensive area.

The location was within two miles of the Napa Wine Train, which is the reason we were in the area. We enjoyed wine and cheese on the private and enclosed balcony of our third floor room. The spacious room included a chair and ottoman for great viewing on the HD TV. The furniture also included a nice desk and chair, armoire, and comfortable king sized bed. Denny's conveniently located next door. Great value for the money!!

This was a fine experience - seemed quite clean and nice. The breakfast was not much but nice to get a banana and coffee. The water coming from the tap in Napa is kinda gross imho so it'd be nice if they had a filtered water jug out front. However, the staff filled up my bottle for me, which was super sweet.

When researching hotels in Napa I was floored by the number of people wanting to spend hundreds of dollars a night on a hotel. I was going to Napa. I was wanting to spend my money on amazing wine & food. I am not a hotel snob. I need some place clean & safe. This hotel met both requirements. My first two nights in Napa were for work and I stayed in a hotel that was twice the cost of this Best Western. The room wasn't as clean, the bed wasn't as comfy, and the cost was not a good value. Do yourself a favor. Save your money for the good stuff and stay here, especially if you are driving. You are in a good location to get to everything and you will be so happy to have saved money.

I visited Napa and Sonoma 4 times, but this accommodation was the best among my experiences.

I expected an old hotel with drab rooms and got a wonderful surprise! Either the place is new or it's been recently remodeled because my room was lovely, clean and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. It was a lovely surprise. I was in Napa for a conference, which was held at a very swanky and expensive resort (and not in my company's budget). Based on the feedback I heard from my fellow attendees, my room was leaps and bounds nicer than their rooms AND I paid a LOT less. Definitely worth the stay and close to everything. I gave it 3 stars for the location because it's on the edge of town. However, it's still close to a LOT.

Pretty nice hotel for the price. Bed was very comfortable, and its in a great location. Staff was extremely friendly.

The balcony was misleading, view of a roof. The pool was much smaller than pictured. The hot tub was nice. The staff was super friendly and nice, but seem surprised when we asked about how to get around or what to do . It's not near downtown Napa or buses, just a Denny's which was also a little disappointing , not to mention across from Target -- not really the Napa experience we were hoping for. The room was hot then cold- problems with the air. Clean and ok - just not really what we were going for.
