Avia is a nice, new modern hotel in the middle of downtown napa. It was a quick weekend getaway for my husband and me, and the Avia was a great choice and a great price point. I'd definitely stay there again.

Celito lindo is a short walk around the corner on Main St and was the best Mexican food. Extremely authentic.

Great hotel
Great hotel, great location for our first trip to Napa. The roof top balcony was great fir a late afternoon snack and bottle of wine.

Oxbow market was great and there were a few nice wine tasting rooms. Great place to eat across the street... Norman Rose.

AVIA Napa = Awesome!
We were in Napa for our honeymoon, and just happened to find this hotel [...]. It looked nice from the pictures, so we went with it. What a place! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doorman would talk to us whenever we were coming in or out, and would help steer us in the right direction. The room was so comfortable and modern, we almost hated to go out! The bathroom was spacious, and had great amenities, like a real hairdryer! The Terrace on the 2nd floor was very nice, too, although being there in the middle of the week, it was quiet and you had to go downstairs to get a drink, rather than the bar that is probably open on the weekends. But we had a great stay, and should have stayed longer!

We would wander into random wine tasting rooms or bars, and ask our servers for recommendations on places to eat. They never steered us wrong! Try out Ceja for wine, Zuzu for tapas, and Ristorante Allegria for Italian!

Great Location
Never been to the Napa valley, so I reserved this hotel, given its location. If you want the Winery and relaxation, Yountville may be a better place to reserve a place. This hotel is downtown, you can easily walk to most places. There is a valet ($15/night) or you can park in the back of the hotel for free. Nice, modern hotel

Reserve your events ahead of time! If you wait until you get there, barrel openings, or other fun events are sold out. If you want to eat at the French Laundry, reserve it as soon as you can (2 months or so!)

AVIA Napa
My wife and I were very pleased with AVIA in downtown Napa. We were within walking distance to multiple resturants and tasting rooms. Parking was close and easy if you chose not to valet. The food and service was great. We literally never opened a door for ourselves. We will definetely stay at AVIA again in Napa. In fact, we plan on staying at AVIA in Savannah, GA after our experience at the Napa location.

Short drive from hotel
If your going to Wine Tastings on Hwy 29 our advise is to go as far north as possible and work your way back. The traffic backs up some on 29. For instance, we went to Calistoga and worked our way back to downtown which saved lots of sitting time.

We stay at AVIA hotel in downtown Napa and it is a decent hotel with an excellent bathroom but cramped bedroom space. The service is mediocre but for the price we paid it is reasonable.

Perfect location
