Extended Stay America - San Jose - Morgan Hill

Rooms were clean but not well insulated from additional noise. If stayiing you may want the third floor so you don't hear footsteps above. Staff very was courteous.

This hotel works out because of it's convenience to Morgan Hill and it is good that it has ammenities that allow you to work and eat without having to go out to a restaurant. The walls are poorly insulated -- above and beside you can constantly hear the movement of people. The fridge door was on backward for the room position which made it awkward to open against a wall. Good enough but not so good.

The room had a kitchenette and plenty of room with wifi. I was supposed to have a no smoking room but the room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. The cold water did not work -- turned off under the sink because of a leaky faucet valve. The noise level of the hotel was moderate. The front desk staff was nice.

This was my first visit to an Extended Stay America. Room was tidy and well-kept. Had the kitchenette, which I would have used if I had the time; they even provided some utensils. Bed and sheets were clean and respectably firm but not hard. Staff were pleasant, cheerful and professional. Hallways could have been a bit cleaner, but not a big deal. A somewhat minimal continental breakfast is provided in the lobby in the morning--coffee was respectable, though. Location was behind a mall in Morgan Hill which had a Walmart, among other things. Access was 2 mins. off 101. Freeway noise at night did not seem to be an issue. Plenty of decent eateries nearby--Chili's, Chipotle Grill, Dickey's to name a few. A Peet's coffee outlet is within walking distance. There is a Chevron close by that seemed to be the only locally available gas stop. Overall, this establishment was a decent value for the money, and I would recommend it.

bed was horrible hard as brick, the shower head Was plugged up, the carpet was dirty and stained. Uncomfortable chair. Lumpy pillows. Tv remote didn't work not to mention, the tv was about 16 " and was the old style tv. Leaves piled up around the interance of the hotel.

I was skeptical because of the poor reviews but I needed a place that allowed pets. Both rooms that we had were clean and ready prior to check in time. The beds, furniture and kitchen were decent too. My wife who is picky liked the place. Her only complaint was the pillows were too hard. I would stay here again.

It was very nice, we were able to check in and out without any problems. It was close to where we wanted to go. If we had to stay there again we would.

Location and check in was nice. Lobby was clean.. then you get in the elevator.. It was dirty and smelly. Carpet in the halls and room was in dire need of replacing. Bed was hard. Dried Blood on the blankets. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Kitchenett was clean. Bathroom was OK but the shower/tub didnt drain well. Gardeners woke us up 7 am with weed whacker or a leaf blower.... Definately would not stay again.. would pay $10-$15.00 more a night to stay in a cleaner Hotel. I was under the impression all EXTENDED STAY AMERICAS were clean, but evidently they are independently owned. Would not recomend this place. ( If you have young kids who are gonna play on the floor, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE!!)
