We had a downstairs room, which was fine until about bedtime when we realized that some noisy young adults were above us. It sounded like they had a Clydesdale in the room. They didn't go to bed til midnight. Thankfully I was tired enough to fall
asleep and was only awakened by them periodically. I would recommend calling and asking for a single story room.
The continental breakfast was great for being free. It is a very small room, so make sure you get there early to have a seat and so you can get a waffle. There is only one waffle iron that take 2.5 mins to cook so get there with plenty of time to spare.
Good location as long as you have a car. Quiet, clean and breakfast was pretty impressive - a lady to make you waffles, and bread or bagels to toast, plus fruit, cereal, muffins, pastries, fruit juice, tea and coffee.
More than adequate, and for
the price very good. Easy to find & free parking for one car per room.
Under the flight path for the airport, but not a problem at all - not very busy & quiet at night.
Would stay there again.

Tarpy's Roadhouse, at highway 68 & canyon del rey, near the Monterey airport, was a great place to eat -and lots of locals were there too, which is always a good sign! Lovely meat & fish.
