Good location and Price
Good location, within walking distance to the Monterey Fair Grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good, and the pool was open. Everything was clean and in working condition. Only downside was the lack of an air conditioner. It got pretty warm in out room and we had no way to cool off besides opening the windows.

It'll do...
I went to Monterey to spend time with a friend that is stationed on the Presidio of Monterey Army Base. I just needed a place to crash at night that had free WiFi. I got that at this hotel, but I do wish I'd been just a bit more picky. It was sufficient, but could have used a better thermostat for heat, and parking wasn't all that great either. Oh, and the pillows and bed were a bit hard. If you're thinking of staying here, then at least bring your own pillow. It wasn't a bad place, and it did provide what I needed. The breakfast each morning was much more than I expected, too. All in all, it was a good, clean, quiet place to stay, and since I wasn't in the room all that much, it met my needs.

Sufficient
While in Monterey for a vacation with my son we went to cannery row and ate at Fishwife. Fishwife was the highlight of the whole trip! Excellent service, food, atmosphere. The motel was okay. Clean, pleasant staff. Although it was supposed to be non smoking, it was apparent that this was not the case. Also we were right in the flight plan for some large planes. But I got a great deal with [...]and for that reason I would stay there again.

Quality Inn Monterey
Room was not ready when I checked in at 2:10, I had to wait for almost an hour. Besides that everything was good, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice place for the price
Very clean and friendly staff. Nothing extraordinary, but a good place to sleep for the night. Down comforters on the beds. Skip the breakfast.

Fairly good value
The hotel was convenient, if somewhat away from the city. It was quiet and clean, which is more important. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is kind of average for this type of hotel. Overall, I would recommend for families going to the area.

Friendly Staff, Clean Room & Good Locati
Hotel was nice and clean. A little work needed to be done in the bathroom, but overall the room was nice. Things were clean. The staff was friendly and location was good.
