InterContinental THE CLEMENT MONTEREY
Close to Monteray Aquarium, lots of shops, and restaurants. Free Trolley ran from 10AM - 7PM from hotel to Fisherman's Wharf. Scenery beautiful. Close to HWY 1 that lead to Pebble Beach, Carmel, and Redwood forests. Lots of coastline with Sea Lions, otters, seals, birds, etc. Price of food was expensive, but the fresh seafood was worth the cost. Whale watching was amazing and prices varied from company to company. This trip was outstanding. Price of hotel and air travel was very reasonable.

Breakfast cost were reasonable at Starbucks on Prescott St, one block from hotel. Also the sandwich shop across from the Aquarium had delicious quick meals. Myo was a yogurt store that was an evening treat with make your own desserts. The Cannery Row Brewery had great food and the citrus salad replacement for fries made every meal healtier. Isabella and Domencio on Fisherman's Wharf were expensive but had outstanding seafood.

Nice hotel in a great location!
I was here for business and the hotel was gorgeous. The only thing I would caution is that everything in the hotel to purchase is REALLY overpriced. I would order a typical breakfast room service and one morning it cost $30!! Their valet is $27! I would advise to NOT eat in the hotel as there are other options in that area. I also had a bay facing room and in the mornings it was loud with the trucks delivering stuff to the stores on Canary Row.

Nice and convenient
Great location - super convenient, walking distance to most shops and restaurants, minutes to the aquarium. Awesome staff! Spotless rooms. Only bad point - some rooms face a brick wall (aquarium wall). Unfortunately those are the quietest rooms. But at least we got to hear the sound of the ocean.

Pretty but a bit overrated
Very pretty hotel, but oddly laided out. Very expensive for what you get and feel they are really tryting to get the consumer for every penny they can. To pay to park where you were staying, over 20$ was a bit pricy. Again beautiful hotel, but is in Monterey and not Hawaii

Beautiful Romantic Getaway
What a beautiful location! The hotel is located right next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and is right on Cannery Row near a number of great restaurants, shops and bakeries. The room was immaculate, large and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was friendly and the hotel restaurant was just amazing. The C restaurant has a beautiful ocean view and the food was delicious! It is a little on the pricey side but WELL worth the money. I would definitely go back and want to kiss my friend for recommending this hotel to me.

Nice Hotel
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Spotless rooms. However, nothing really distinguished it from some other hotels that I have stayed at -- the reception was very austere and visually impersonal -- not a very welcoming space. Would I stay there again? Yes -- great location and a good value.

Short drive from hotel
Visit the Carmel mission in Carmel by the Sea. Lovely old mission with a lot of history. Very pretty courtyard. If you have children, don't stay in Carmel for dinner -- take the kids back to Monterey and stroll along Cannery Row.
