Family spring vacation
The location of the hotel was great. It was a little strange that we had to walk through the parking garage to get to our room. The room was clean and very nice, but didn't have a microwave. Great continentil breakfast. Overall our stay was great. I would reccomment this hotel.

Fun Monterey Getway!

The room was great but it was unfortunate to find out that they charged an extra $20 for parking on their premises. Also on their website they state they are walking distance from Cannery Row, true if you are in your workout gear and want to go for a half an hour walk.

Monterrey getaway
Hard to find drove by the hotel 3 times before seeing the hotel. Nice staff. Rooms are a little outdated and the beds are too soft for my comfort.

Fishhopper restaurant at cannery row was awesome right on the water magnificent views of the Monterrey bay.

Lovely place to stay
Have stayed here before and loved the stay as much this time as the last. Very cozy and romantic yet withing walking distance of the Pier. Recommend to anyone.

Lovely but dirty floor
This is a lovely location and beautiful room. Our only issues were that the wood floor was dirty and sticky and I found a cheerio on the carpet and lastly the parking fee of $19 seemed excessive.

Nice room
The first night we were there a noisy family arrived about midnight. Between the kids jumping off the beds and the parents running after them,it was difficult to sleep. The staff was very gracious and changed the room. The following night was great. Nice room, private patio, fireplace Good complete breakfast. Well worth the money

a little pricey
Room was comfortable, but a little pricey for the accomodations. Continental breakfast was good and the variety was better than expected. We'ver definitely paid less for more in the Monterey area.

Orbitz stigma?
I told the hotel rep about the bad room experience at the Monterey Plaza. She said that she would give us a good room. There was a delay to wait for that room, then they "Found" one for us. It was right on the main street side, with bad traffic noise! I asked why that room? Staff said that is what we were supposed to receive. We were told we would have to pay more for a better room. We did!
