Convenient and Restful

Comfortable and nice location, although the room was a little small for the four of us, the staff made up for it with phenomenal service. Nice parking too.

Decent. Midsize hotel

Very good staff and all the reservation information was correct. My room was small but comfortable. It was, however, a great distance from the lobby and other services. The bed was good but the comfortor was old and lumpy. It was in a great location and I would return.

Not much in the way of dining services and rather overpriced for what was offered.

No emergency power in hotel after storm

My otherwise pleasant trip was interupted by severe storm activity. There was no apparent emergency power available at the hotel. Guests were left with no electrical power.

acceptable hotel. Good location

The room amenities were great(microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker), except they didn't have an in-room safe. The layout was a little whacky. you couldn't get from the room to the lobby or the restaurant without going outside. Room service was only in the evening. Breakfast was 16.95 each. It was mostly self serve.(make your own waffles, toast, fresh fruit bar, the chefs made to order omelets pancakes, sausage and bacon. You were served coffee or orange juice. You would never be able to eat your monies worth. My hair dryer wasn't working and they replaced that immediately.

Great place, close to everything!

Enjoyed our stay. Quiet and easy to get to. Close to the Wharf and Cannery Row. Fitness room looked great. We didn't use it this time, but seemed to have everything for a nice work-out. Even the balance balls. The bedding was very comfortable. Nice comforters (much needed in Monterey!)with white duvets. You know they've got to be changed each time! I always bring my own pillow, since hotel pillows are usually horrible. No need with this hotel. They were wonderful as was the bed. All in all, it was a great stay. We'd stay there again.
