Bay Park is wonderful
For the money it was great. Large room, clean, good view of ocean, has refrigerator in room. Front desk clerk pleasant, very helpful and went out of her way to help us with places in the area for laundry, shopping and food. Would recommend highly, price good and right off Hwy 101.

Great Monterey location and price.
Only passing through Monterey, from Northern Cal down to Southern Cal, we needed a stopover that was easy to get to, close to restaurants and local attractions, and at a fair price. The hotel restaurant had a nice menu for our late dinner, WiFi, and very pleasant help at the front desk.

Great hotel
Great hotel, and friendly staff! The room itself was in a separate unit from the lobby/concierge, but that all the more made it more private. Great location from Cannery Row and downtown Monterey (only 2 miles!) and very clean (especially clean, spacious bathroom!). More like a fancy motel/inn than a hotel though.

There is a gas station RIGHT at the hotel! You are 2 miles away from everything, so grab a map!

Friendly staff but noisy location
Enjoyed the restaurant, bar, and friendly staff. The desk clerk upgraded our room to a king size bed at no extra charge. The room we stayed in was clean but the pillows were a little too flat for me and the television was too low for viewing while lying in bed. The room faced the highway which was very noisy and we had to keep heater on @65 degrees to keep warm at night. I would stay there again but would request a room not facing the highway.

So cute!
The room was ordinary but had a giant window that was nice. My favorite part was the bar and the restaurant. It's too bad the bar closed at 10pm. The location is perfect, literally right off the freeway and less than a mile from downtown. There r no elevators so we chose to stay on the third floor so those who needed the rooms on the first floor could have them.

really enjoyed my stay there we took our dog with us. out room was right outside the dog area. our room did smell like dogs were there before but overall it was a nice room bed was comfortable nice tv and very convenient to every pace
