The only negative thing was that the front desk put an outside call through to my room w/o the caller knowing my name. It happened to be a scam call. They said there was a problem with my credit card and that it was a stolen card. I knew that was a lie. They spoke with an Australian accent. And were trying to get card info. I told them to get lost. Already talked to shift manager about this. She said it is policy not to forward calls if they dont know guests name. But would address the matter with the staff. If they had got a naive person, they could have got their card info.

Nights in Modesto
Clerks were friendly, room was tidy, Spartan furnishings, utilitarian bath, bare bones, but what did you expect for $40 per night ?

The good, bad and ugly
I was in town to go to a birthday party in Riverbank the location was convient. The room had only one washcloth and one towel. There was no coffee maker. Coffee is offered in the morning in the office. The coffee was very weak and there were no lids to place over the cups,by the time you returned to your room the coffee had spilled out. The room overtop of the room i was in i could hear walking in the wee hours of the morning.

SUCH A DEAL!!!!!!!
The Hotel was centrally located to all the activities we had planned. The price was great and the overall accomodations and staff were wonderful. Would highly suggest it to friends and would definitely stay there again if in the area. Our room had to very comfortable queen beds, All was a wonderful experience.

Short drive from hotel
Try the California Mongolian BBQ in downton area. Terrific deal and good food. All you can eat and they prepare it fresh in front of you. All agreed it was **** overall for food and location and drive from hotel.
