they got the reservation wrong, wrong type of room and needed to be handicap. the room they moved us to was and ugly location. the food was good staff were good. I wasn't very happy and may not stay there again.

while the room was clean and everything worked, the place is really more in the dump category: carpets stained or bleached, tubs have been "painted", no bathroom counter, bathroom shelf coming off the wall, refrigerator not "on", the fascia outside the window literally falling off the building, debris outside exterior stairway, corroded lamps, THE WORST CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST ON THE PLANET. All that said, comfortable bed and functional TV remote with decent cable coverage. Should be a $40 room, not a $72 dollar room. Would NEVER go back and feel sorry for the Europeans' visits: this is our "3 star" hotel culture? I mean, really, the breakfast was nothing but bad coffee and bagels with a banana or apple to take along for their Yosemite hikes. Close the doors. Next door's Courtyard Marriott worth TWICE the money!

It was a overall good experience. I requested a roll away bed on line and when I got there but they said they had none.

This is my second experience at this hotel. I really enjoyed my three night stay a few months ago...but this time the night staff was very unfriendly . they gave me a dirty crib in which I then wanted a sheet to cover up the matress my 7 month old would be sleeping on. I called and ask ...and waited..walked very far to the desk and was told they would bring me a sheet very soon. 20 minutes went by and still nothing..I walked back up there (its already 1030 by now) and there was a shift change and the new guy coming on told me he would work on it..still nothing another 15 minutes later..i then called and asked where my sheet was? The employee then got an attitude telling me he was working on it as he had started work 15 minutes early and was looking for a clean room to pull it out of!! I was just so mad and couldnt understand why they have no extra sheets on hand...so my husband then walked up and spoke his peace and 10 minutes later the security guard finally brought me a sheet...1120pm. We are from Texas and had been traveling and just wanted to have a nice peaceful experience and relax..but it did not happen till almost 12am..ridiculous!!! I am not sure I will return..Its a great hotel and very comfortable if you can put up with a unfriendly staff and have patients to wait!! It may also depend on who is working..

I enjoyed it but I had a clogged sink snd called for repair and noone ever came to fix it but kids loved the indoor pool it was pretty awesome

The property is outdated. The bathrooms are small and cramped. The room had little natural light. The refrigerator was on the floor and the door didn't open easily due to the drag on the carpet. The advertised microwave wasn't there. The electrical outlet by the desk was broken. The usual binder outlining hotel amenities and services plus dining and other services around town was missing. Nextdoor occupants and outside noise could be easily heard in the room. The hotel is surrounded by lots of pavement and has an industrial feel. I can't recommend it, though I did get a cheap rate.

The Red Lion Inn really needs to have more than one person at the front check in counter. It took me 40 minutes to get checked in to my room. The gentlemen saw me struggling with all my luggage getting in the door and still sent me to the very back of the facility. I also want to make note that why this gentlemen at the front desk was struggling there was a manager just sitting in his office with the door open and could see all the guest coming in to check in and he never got up to help. I will not stay here again nor will I recommend it to any of my family or friends
